They hide behind rocks and trees continuing to shout.
Violet stoops behind a tree stump, points her gun, and says,"Ping" Charlie Brown looks back at her and says,"'Ping'?!"
Charlie Brown spreads his hands and exclaims to Shermy,"What did I tell you?! Girls just aren't cut out for this sort of thing!"

A puzzled Patty walks by a sad Charlie Brown standing next to the lane.
She walks over to him and asks,"Say, you've been standing in the same spot for the last half hour...what's wrong?"
She stoops and looks at his thigh-high boots. He sticks his foot out and replies,"It's these new cowboy boots..."
He concludes,"I can't bend my knees!"

Snoopy sits watching Shermy fix a puzzle.
Shermy looks up questioningly as Snoopy's nose starts to twitch and he prepares to sneeze.
Shermy starts as Snoopy sneezes loudly and blows his puzzles pieces all over.

Charlie Brown stands in the living-room, in his pajamas, looking out the window. He exclaims,"It snowed last night!" "Oh, boy!! Where's my sled? Where's my over-boots?"
He tosses clothes out of the drawer in his bedroom. He continues,"I'll need my sweater, an' scarf an' mittens..."
Dressed in full winter gear, he trots off. He exclaims,"An' my wooly hat, an' my earmuffs an' my heavy coat!"
He stands on the step outside of the house, looking at the clean pavement. He exclaims,"It's melted!"

Patty appears at the door and he exclaims,"Tricks or treats...money or eats!" She exclaims,"What?!"
He jumps as she shouts,"Get out of here!!! Halloween was yesterday!"
As the door slams in his face, he replies,"I'm still hungry!"

A child in a ghost/sheet says, "Boo!". Shermy walks by wearing a mask and shouts,"BOO!"
Patty joins him and the kid in the sheet and they walk down the lane exclaiming, "Boo!"
They stop in front of Charlie Brown, who is balancing a pumpkin atop his head and waving his arms. He says,"Boo!", and they respond likewise.
They jump as Snoopy suddenly pops up from in the pumpkin shouting, "Boo!!"

As they walk down the lane, he asks,"Are you sure I'm qualified?" She replies,"Absolutely!"
She holds the door to the house open for him and continues,"I wouldn't have asked you if I didn't think you'd be perfect for the job..." He exclaims,"Gee!"
He stands in the room glowering as she sits on a stool carving a pumpkin.

A puzzled Patty watches them walk up to her and shout, "Boo!"
They stop in front of her and one explains,"We're doing our Halloween ghosting early!"
She watches them walk off. One says,"Only two more ghosting days 'til Halloween!" The other replies,"Boo"

Violet runs down the lane, with her hands in the air, after Charlie Brown shouting,"You ran over my dolly!" He sits on his tricycle and looks behind him questioninly at the flattened doll.
He jumps off the tricycle as she swings at him with the doll. She exclaims,"Oh, you heartless wretch!" He shouts,"Hey!"
He falls and exclaims, "Ow!", as she whacks over his head with the doll. She shouts,"You hit-run driver! You murderer!!"
He sits on the ground in pain and dazed as she walks off comforting her doll and saying,"Poor dolly..."

He asks,"What kind of pie do you have?" She replies,"Lemon, pumpkin, apple, and peach!"
She leans on the crate and continues, "Of course, it won't matter which you order..."
She spreads her hands and concludes,"They're all made out of mud!!"

She bends down and hugs an in-love Snoopy tightly. She says,"Oh, thank you, Snoopy..." Charlie Brown watches and says,"Gee!"
He grimaces and Snoopy laughs as she vigorously shakes his hand and says,"And thank you, too, Charlie Brown"

He puts the box on the floor and laughs as a Jack-in-the-box springs out and frightens Snoopy.
