As you are aware, we have been making changes to the online portal that you use for your participation in Illinois’ Compassionate Use of Medical Cannabis program. As of today, that new system is ready for use.

Please continue reading for important information.

Moving to this new system requires you to create a new login and password for your account. If you have not already done so, please click on this link, How To Guides (illinois.gov), for a video and other information on how to set up your account. Once you have done so (or if you have previously completed that set-up process), you will need to click on the Medical Cannabis icon in your ILogin Dashboard  



If your medical cannabis registration was set to expire or if you have corrections due between April 15, 2025, and May 29, 2025, you will automatically be granted an extension until May 30, 2025.  Please log in to the new system to print an updated card.
Caregivers, under this new system, will have a separate login in order to obtain access to your patient’s information. You should have received an invitation email that will grant you access to the new system. If you cannot locate your email, please check your spam and ‘all mail’ folders.

We believe you will find this new system easier to use from any device, and think it will offer more flexibility for yourself, your medical provider, and your dispensary.

So I get logged in and try to get to their medical cannabis section to be met with a Salesforce error that is useless.

No way to contact anyone, just more links to FAQs with 'video' help files for the unfortunate to read I guess. Clearly written by the same person who writes the useless FAQs and emails. I'll smoke some weed and try back in a month or so. mmj card lets me buy tax free. I'm already stocked up thanks. I dgaf about system changes.
