Dan Ackerman sues Apple and game company, saying they blocked his approaches to adapt book into movie, then did it anyway

Director William Friedkin, best known for his Oscar-winning “The French Connection” and blockbuster “The Exorcist,” died Monday in Los Angeles. He was 87.

'Oppenheimer' is now the biggest World War II pic of all time at $552.9 million worldwide, while 'Meg 2: The Trench' and 'Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: Mutant Mayhem' open ahead of expectations.

Warner Bros. Discovery lost 1.8 million subscribers in the three months following the launch of Max. The losses weren’t exclusive to the Max streaming service, though. In its earnings report on Thursday, the company reported having 95.8 million global subscribers across all of its services — down from 97.6 million at the end of the first quarter of this year.

in need of some real good horror movies

Just finished this movie. Thought it was okay, nothing special. I always cry and feel emotional at movies, but I didn't feel any real attachments to any characters in this movie, so nothing made me sad, or feel much of anything really. The characters didn't feel fleshed out, and even over 2+ hours, I never developed any sympathy for anyone. Especially not the protagonist, Mac. I also thought they didn't do the Chiefs character justice, and I didn't buy his evolution from being faking mute and no desire to leave, to suddenly talking and wanting to leave, all over the course of his 12 total lines.

Maybe an unpopular opinion, but imo it was just an okay movie, wouldn't watch again, was kinda bored throughout. The ending wasn't impactful on me. Thoughts on the movie?

A couple of years ago I found an interview with David Lynch on Youtube. The interview is done by a, honestly, quite clueless interviewer. However, Lynch really goes a 100% on trying to explain stuff for the interviewer and it turns into one of the best descriptions of abstract cinema and it's process that I've ever heard. I would love to find this again, but I'm having great trouble.

If I remember correctly:

• It's done by a Japanese interviewer.
• The interview is about Mulholland Drive, most likely done around its release.
• The interviewer spends a lot of time trying to get Lynch to explain parts of the movie. Specific scenes, the plots etc. Lynch just keeps trying to explain that there's no true answer to those questions.
• I did find some info that indicates it might have been included as an extra on one of the early releases of Mulholland, but haven't been able to verify.
