I'm completely new to this browser. Why do open tabs close on the next launch? And why do I have to log back into the sites I'm logged into every time I close and open them?

I know this is not related to mullvad vpn but I couldn't find a Mullvad Browser subreddit.

I'm migrating from Firefox to Mullvad and I encountered an issue where I cannot log in to Tiktok and I'm not sure why. If I try to login via QR code nothing happens, it just loads forever. If I try login in with username and password, the same thing happens. (I already unchecked the "Always use private mode".

• I already tried disabling the DNS, Ublock, NoScript.
• Tried control+i and allowing cookies.
• Restarting the browser multilpe times.

I guess it's due to some settings under about:config. I hope someone here can help me figure this out.

Was logging onto Cloudflare Dashboard today to configure my Pages stuff and got this not-so-nice block page. Tried all of the SG Wireguard servers and all of them seem to not work. Things work though when I turn SOCKS5 off on Firefox. Not sure where I'm supposed to report this.

Currently, Firefox is my default browser.

I have set up FF to save my bookmarks to a file called bookmarks.html every time I close FF.

I set up a directory called C:\Backup with a bookmarks.html file.

I have an entry in the user.js file called

user_pref("browser.bookmarks.autoExportHTML ", true);

I have set up an entry in the config part of FF called browser,bookmarks.file and put a string in it that points to my directory (e.g., C:\backup\bookmarks.html).

I have tried doing that in the Mullvad browser but I can't get it to work. I bookmark a lot of sites in the course of a day and it is important that I can save my bookmarks. I would like to make Mullvad my default browser. Mullvad seems to save bookmarks at very random intervals. I end up importing the FF bookmarks.html when I feel the need to update Mullvad but it's awkward.

Any clues? Thanks.

after using mullvad for ~14 days i can say that it's a pretty good vpn but it should have more servers, other than that, it's really good

In China. Can't get above 1 mbps on a Pixel 8 Pro. I've tried Mullvad, OpenVPN, WireGuard. TCP/UDP. Different servers - Toronto, Sweden, Singapore, Hong Kong. On the the verge of initiating a refund through PayPal.

Hello All,

I have a bit of a unique scenario and I want to see if anyone else has this figured out or what is best option for me.

I use Mullvad and have it active and running on 5 different devices right now, maxing my usage. I have a home server that I use for a few applications and am looking to either use that or my router to achieve this.

I'd like to use an IPTV service and have it go through my Mullvad for privacy. It works fine to have Mullvad on my streaming box and then use the IPTV service, but that uses one of my 5 devices spots and I would like to be able to use any of my streaming devices to access the IPTV with it still being filtered through Mullvad.

What is the best way to do this? Can I have the IPTV link "washed" on my server first before being redistributed to my devices? Having it go through Plex is clunky and my Plex isn't behind VPN right now as it's caused issues. However a VM on my server does have Mullvad protection.

Thoughts? Anyone with experience doing this?

hey all. using mullvad and noticed something yesterday. sometimes when i visit google maps it locates me in Sweden whereas sometimes it locates me in the country i am living in. what can be the reason? it happens even when i visit maps in incognito mode.

I suddenly can't connect to any of the Montreal servers, but Toronto works just fine. Can anyone else test this? If this is a problem on my end, what could be going on?

EDIT: the page here https://mullvad.net/en/servers says that they are online... I had just switched my router ethernet cable right before this happened, but I have no idea how this could be an issue. The block is happening on my wifi as well as my cellular data.

(I did a quick search to see if there was another post about this, but didn't see any. Apologies if this has already been brought up before.)

There are a couple of places I go to (one of which is my workplace) where I am absolutely unable to connect to the VPN using the app. Doesn't seem to matter what server I choose or even if I enable obfuscation, which is kinda weird because I figured that was the reason for obfuscation. I've also tried different ports with no luck.

I just figured out today that I could connect via a bridge using Shadowsocks and OpenVPN by following the guide on Mullvad's website, and it seems to work fine. Hopefully it will help with my connection issues, but I haven't tested it yet at the previously mentioned locations. There's just one potential problem... This method does not seem to be usable if you enable "Block connections without VPN".

On one hand, this method is supposed to help bypass restrictive networks and whatnot which is great, but the fact that you can't use this method while the "Block connections without VPN" setting enabled is a pretty big issue in my opinion. If you get disconnected or have to reconnect for whatever reason, well there goes your protection.

This was not mentioned in the guide and there doesn't seem to be a solution for it, to my knowledge.

Has anyone else tried this, and is there a solution? Or am I overthinking it (which I tend to do)?

I have a question about the Mullvad Extension and DNS leak behavior I have noticed in both Mullvad Browser and standard Firefox: When turning on the Socks proxy, I get 2 hits on a DNS leak test: The mullvad server and the proxy server. Not ideal, but still not leaking outside of VPN itself. It still bothered me so while taking a closer look I noticed when you put in an invalid DoH URL in the browser settings, it no longer leaks and I only see the proxy location on a leak test.

Is this a working hack that will truly stop the VPN relay behind the proxy from showing? I don't have time to study the extension in depth to figure out and figure there's smarter people here anyways that could chime in.

when I open a game I get driver_irql_not_less_or_equal bosd, but only with the mullvad client open and active. Anyone else? Im using latest CLEAN (I reinstaleld them) AMD drivers and mullvad version.

Changed mobile ISPs and noticed mine is blocking mullvad. I want to enable bridge mode according to the mullvad website but openvpn is missing. I am running version 2024.3. WireGuard Obfuscation doesn't work either.

I'd like to occasionally send files from my Samsung to another device, but mullvad blocks the port/smb. Is there any workaround? I don't need to do this often enough to set up ssh/ftp, but is that my only option? All solutions to my problem seem to only apply to desktop, not mobile.

I've checked in tast manager and on the app itself, it shouldn't be launching on start-up and yet it always does. Is this a known issue? Anybody know what might be causing it?

On Brave browser, when connected to any Mullvad server, I’ll intermittently get an error that a site can’t be connected to. A few seconds later, I am able to connect to the site.

I’ve:

• Cleared cache
• Tried in different Brave profiles
• Turned off secure DNS in Brave settings
• Reinstalled Brave

It’s possible that I only have this problem on Brave, but then again it's intermittent, so perhaps I just haven't gotten "unlucky" enough to reproduce it.

Hi, i'm trying to use hamachi with this vpn, and even if i enable split tunelling to exclude hamachi, i still get general failure and told to check my firewall. yet if i disable mullvad hamachi works. How come split tunnel excluding hamachi still stops it working?
