I have downloaded the Mullvad app on all the devices we are bringing - 1 iPhone, 1 iPad, 1 Android phone.

Do I need to download anything else? Please help. This is the first time I am using a VPN. Thank you!

Hey everyone, I just realized tonight that my IP address has been leaking from my Plex Media Server PC. I had split tunneling on with Plex Media Server (and its subprocesses).

Everything returned to normal after I turned off Split Tunneling and checked my IP and Mullvad's status page. However, the issue resurfaced when I turned it back on with the Plex selections included. I uninstalled and reinstalled Mullvad only to encounter the same issue again.

Has anyone noticed this issue?

hiya all and this is my litle world I'd like you to see,

5 EU price breakdown

1. One month gasoline
2. Two weeks veggies and fruits
3. 2-4 clothing and good one too
4. Can pay at least half of power utility
5. Total payment for up to two phones a month
6. Half week rent of small apartment
7. At least 80 percent of cooking fuel
8. Milk for whole month for single person
9. Groceries with daily consumables will last 10 days min

This list is for the average person with an affordable lifestyle while for the poor, this can stretch further. I don't use streaming services, expensive phones, gaming stuff and all but I am okay. I use YouTube instead and trying to be content with that. Sometiems I do want to watch shows and movies but I can't due to fear of other shady VPNs. Ttried Tor but it is way slow and better for reading for me.

My request for Mullvad is that I can afford your service but need a better pricing model so we too can pay on weekly basis at least. Paying in full is not possible, and a regional cost will help too.

With so much competition, can I trust Mullvad vpn to keep their services still up for the next few years? I am a big fan of mullvad and have been using for a while. It is still my favourite service as it does-not need email registration. Is there any other VPN's that does this? I feel like they really care, but can they keep going? The competition has a lot of discount codes, I know mullvad has a 5 Euro policy but is there any discounted keys etc? I saw some on amazon.

I recently installed Mullvad VPN and love it. But I'm encountering a major problem: After restarting my PC I don't have access to the internet anymore and my Adapter shows as "unidentified Network" (hope I'm translating right). When using Windows Troubleshooting it tells me that my Adapter doesn't have an IP Adress. Tried using ipconfig /release and /renew in cmd, it just won't finish /renew(ing). Only fix for now has been uninstalling Mullvad VPN app and running troubleshoot again, which gets me back online.

Mullvad won't connect either after restart, also not as admin. Other fix was resetting Network, which renders Mullvad unusable till reinstall. When freshly installed, everything's fine, till I restart the PC.

Anyone else encountered this? Could there be a workaround using Mullvad settings? I'm a big noob regarding VPN usage..

For anyone trying this, you very likely encountered this problem: "How did you get to the login button? The UI is quite weird for me and won’t let me reach the login button".

To be clear, it is easy to enter the account number - but after doing so, you cannot navigate to the 'login' button. Try it yourself to understand my meaning.

It's a crying shame that Mullvad has allowed this problem to remain unresolved for many months (or longer?). I plead for Mullvad to apply a fix asap!

Hi everyone, I am currently running wireguard interface on OpenWRT router to connect to mulvad server. Today I learned that mullvad bridged servers support shadowsocks connection. I want to try it on OpenWRT, but there isn't guide for it. Anybody tried it on OpenWRT?

I am using windows 8.1 and ausing 2021.6 version of the app. I cannot upgrade to the latest as I only have window 8.`

Per title. First image is from April, second from today (June), and the third with Mullvad connected to London also from today. Does anyone know why this is? Noticed my internet speed has been much slower with Mullvad turned on for more than a week now and it's quite frustrating. Anyone have any advice?

This isn't a criticism (if there is a valid reason for it, and I suspect that there is), it is just a request for clarification/explanation).

I don't know why but this is the second time it's happened, and it will sit for infinity refusing to connect SOMETMIES when i boot up my pc. I want to think it's a problem with mullvad because the app closes and quits and is able to re open wayy too fast for it to be actually closing, even though it doesn't seem to be able to connect. How do I completely nuke any running mullvad stuff, and has anyone got stuff like this happening either?

I had Mullvad a year or so ago, since my subscription ran out I thought I would try a few other VPN's. However, have realised Mullvad was the best fit for me, so have come back.

However, ever since coming back Mullvad is "patchy". What I mean is, it will often work for 5 minutes then run into a block or something and repeat.

I get the below message when trying to run a speedtest, so thought It could be an issue with the firewall? Not sure how to change a socket?

For context, Im on a window 10 PC

Any advice on what to do? I did email support, but didnt get much help.

I've been using Mullvad for 15 days now with no problems, speed wise.

However, today I cannot watch any youtube video on 1080p or even 720p. It even buffers on 480p.

Websites take 5+ seconds to load.

I tried multiple locations: France, Greece, US... All the same.

When I disconnect, my connection speed goes back to normal 16 Mbps.

Anyone else facing this issue today?

Hi, I am currently in China using mullvad as I post this message. Hope this helps.

First of all, it worked in Beijing and through all the way on my trip to Harbin in the train.

I was using another phone as a hotspot using a local chinese carrier, so I can't say for having the sim card directly in the phone with the vpn.

Secondly, im writting this post on a laptop connected to wifi and its working fine, the speed isnt amazing but internet access is as it would be back home.

I just enabled a network-wide Mullvad VPN by connecting it through Wireguard on my pfSense router. When I go to the MullVad website, it confirms that I'm using the Mullvad VPN.

However, when I do a leak test, it shows me:

1. I'm not on a MullvadVPN despite showing the Mullvad VPN Server IP.

2. It is saying that my DNS is leaking showing a bunch of Google Servers

3. Says that there is no WebRTC Leaks.

I'm also using the Mullvad's blocklisted DNS server at 100.64.0.31

Any thoughts on what might be happening?

KDE Connect is used to connect a Linux PC and an Android smartphone for file sharing etc.

I have the Mullvad app running on both devices and have enabled "local network sharing" in both apps. However, on KDE Connect the two devices can't find each other. What am I doing wrong?

Hi everyone,

So long story short, I have been using Mullvad for a few months now. First for privacy, second as my ISP throttles (Mullvad speed is much faster than what my ISP promises, they say 300mbps but reality is that I get 10-20. With Mullvad on I easily get 150+).

Anyway my issue is the app

1. I have a computer running Ubuntu 24. The app does not work or run at all. At least not the GUI version.The command line version works, however I am worried if it actually works properly as the main app does not.

2. I have an android phone. Lately the app is problematic. The connection drops every 5-30 seconds then I must restart the app. The dropping keeps repeating every making it almost impossible to use the internet.

Otherwise I am quite happy with Mullvad service, but it seems that the Mullvad app itself doesn't work well, at least on any of my devices.

I am considering removing Mullvad app and using Wireguard instead.Does anyone else have this problem? If so can you offer any advice? Thanks!

Mullvad has been lately connecting me to a Barcelona server that is either extremely slow or doesent allow me to connect to any website or watch any video.

Is there a way to prevent Mullvad from using it without connecting to another region?

Anyone else have any issues with the France servers? Some (like Bordeaux) I cannot connect with, others (Paris/Marseille) are extremely slow for me. By contrast, the US server is pretty OK (100 Mbps), so I don't suspect my ISP is throttling Mullvad in general ...
