It was working fine until this morning, but I'm not able to connect to anything when using an app that is split tunneling. If i remove the app from split tunneling, it can connect, is something going on? Anything I should check?

I have been on Mullivad for 2 months. I have had years of experience with VPNs. I have come to the conclusion that this is nothing but crap.

The CAPTCHA's are the worst I have ever seen.

I have tried many servers. None work as well as even a poor VPN works.

Hello all, I am looking to move abroad to the UK from the US. I am working remotely for a U.S. based company and want to run my work vpn and connection through my personal vpn so I am located in the US even while I’m living abroad.

I am looking for guidance/options on how to ensure I configure my work set up to bridge through my personal VPN so that my location stays in the US. I would appreciate any help I can get! Thank you :)

Try to use some different bridges from here bridge list

Did this mean that bridge blocked? Or i messed upsomething with settings?

As the title says, I attempt to login to my ISP user account. I enter the username and password. It errors out with CSRF token error. I turn off Mullvad. I repeat the above login. No CSRF error with Mullvad Off. I successfully get into my account.

I'd like to keep the VPN on at all times. I understand this error can sometimes be caused by the browser, but in this case, it's because I'm running a VPN.

Any fix for this?

I've all but given up trying to use it, when it's not randomly dropping I'm lucky if it even connects. I'm based in the UK and it's definitely a recent thing, I've been a customer for years and never seen it this bad. Not after troubleshooting advice, just pulling my hair out and wondering if anyone else is?

For me this started happening today.

I'm signed in on the browser I use, I've never uploaded anything never gotten any strikes for comments left. totally squeaky clean youtube record for over 10 years of daily viewing of the usual stuff I've always been interested in.

Why is youtube making me solve captchas all of a sudden whenever I open a video in a new tab?

My client is showing Detroit mi. What’s my ip showing same ip but location as Texas, my ip search and DuckDuckGo shows Texas. It does not happen all the time sometimes locations both much on both client and web. Does it matter?

Today it got worse where LibreWolf private browsing would not work no matter what. Cleared cookies and cache. Non-private browsing worked, and brave browser private browsing also worked. I found that by changing Mullvad setting to manually use Wireguard OR OpenVPN LibreWolf private browsing worked. But if I set it to automatically choose... it's broken. I'm sure this isn't a Mullvad issue, but instead some setting with LibreWolf. Anyone know what?

The title says it all. I've read that if "DNS over HTTPS" is enabled, Cloudflair (sp) is used and that creates a leak of my IP. So, the solution is to turn it off so that Mullvad takes care of the DNS. Is that correct?

I've been tearing my hair out for hours trying to understand why I can't get mullvad to connect to a server.

I've eventually got to understanding that it's my new (second-hand) Huawei router that's blocking it. Does anyone have any ideas?

I need this router as I live full time in my motorhome (RV) and the mifi I was using gave up the ghost.

I'm getting fed up with my current VPN service and interested in Mullvad but have a few questions/concerns.

1. It doesn't seem to have split tunneling?
2. I keep hearing about how many websites are blocking access using Mullvad. Reddit, Twitter, etc. Is there a list of all websites blocking Mullvad, and why are these services blocking it while not blocking other VPNs?

I'm a paid user & i keep getting crashes on MacOS, even with lockdown mode enabled which is meant to block traffic if Mullvad is not enabled & it keeps leaking my IP.

Could we redesign the app so this does not happen in the future, i feel Mullvad as deteriorated over the last few months, i also keep getting captchas also.

Anyone else getting these issues?

I've tried so many different servers within the US and all the ones I've tried seem to have a latency issue. When I started using mullvad a few months ago it worked completely fine but now the latency is terrible. i get around 20 to 30ms when not under load and while underload sometimes over 130ms which is ridiculous. Has anyone had the same issue? also btw ive tried using the app on my gaming pc and also using my custom open wrt router with the same result

I typically use NextDNS and sometimes when I enable Mullvad I forget to disable the NextDNS profile on my MacBook so my DNS requests still get handled by NextDNS. When this happens Mullvad's website says I have a DNS leak (obviously) but is my real ISP able to see my activity when this happens? Thanks.

It was time to rebuild my desktop - installed all updates / patches / programs / etc etc ... truly time consuming but had to be done!

Last but not least, your app - which seems like it has fixed that Service delay issue which I complained a few months ago.

Bad news?

Your Setup still freaks me out when at the very end goes THERMONUCLEAR - flashes my 36" monitor and then kills whatever Explorer windows / tasks in the background as well as each and every non-OS system tray icons!

Basically, I must reboot my computer to be able to use it as normal!

Then, I remembered your Apps are open source. So, decided to check your Windows code and see what it is your developer is / not doing! But, changed my mind when I saw almost 300 tickets still open since 2019!

I think I need to look for a 3rd party VPN to use with your service.

I've been having an issue lately which hasn't happened before. When I enable the vpn I can no longer search or browse any website. So when I for example write an url in the top bar, it won't go to the website no matter what until I disable the vpn again. How can I solve this? I couldn't find an answer anywhere and changing locations also didn't help.
