Hi Nano Community,

I'm looking to return as a Nano representative, nano_3robocazheuxet5ju1gtif4cefkhfbupkykc97hfanof859ie9ajpdfhy3ez, and wanted to share why I believe I could be valuable to the network again.

My main contribution to the ecosystem is KarmaCall - a spam-blocking app that uses Nano-based paywalls for P2P communications. It's a practical application that demonstrates Nano's utility in fighting modern problems like AI scams, deepfakes, and spam calls. The app is now live on both iOS and Android, serving users across multiple countries including the US, UK, Brazil, Nigeria, Vietnam, and Indonesia.

Why I'd be a good representative:

  • Actively building real-world Nano applications with clear utility
  • Experience integrating Nano into consumer applications
  • Strong technical background (building with Kotlin Multiplatform, considering open-source initiatives)
  • Understanding of different market needs (currently serving users across 6+ countries)
  • Actively looking for growth opportunities & excited by the "production-ready" talks I'm hearing lately :)

I believe my experience building consumer-facing Nano applications gives me valuable perspective on the network's needs. I'm committed to being more engaged with the community and would appreciate your support.

(If helpful, I can share a separate post about KarmaCall's current status and testing needs for iOS/Android users - there are oh so many)

PS - I used Claude to help me edit this :) I write way too much on 1st drafts.

The good news:

Manage your XNO directly in MetaMask:

  • Send/Receive XNO
  • Multiple accounts
  • Nano Internet IDs
  • Custom RPC nodes
  • SDK for web developers (request txs, signing)

Preview:

For the (kind of) bad news:

  • MetaMask requires 3rd-party security audit for listing
  • audit costs anywhere from $3-15k, although for our case likely on the lower end

Code will be open-sourced in ~2 weeks once final refactoring & testing are done, which is when I'll start asking auditors for quotes.

Obviously XNO is an excellent P2P crypto and of course its original intent…but why can’t it also be the perfect store of value?

Everyone refers to BTC as the digital gold, but if I had a bar of gold in my safe (wallet) and wanted to move it to another safe (wallet) downstairs or to my parents or from bank to bank etc I could just pick it up and move it….and when I got it there it would weight exactly the same. It wouldn’t need to go through a miner or have a portion cut off every time, I could literally just move it. I could carry it around all day in my pocket if I wanted too!

For me XNO is the same, if I want to move it from one place to another or hold it for 50 years and leave it to the postman it would be exactly the same amount. Regardless if I moved it to 1000 wallets in between. That’s digital gold!

Yeah you can have BTC in a cold wallet and claim the same thing but at some point to transfer it internationally or put it in a hot wallet to exchange it, the broker (miner) gets out their knife and slices a piece of your gold off to keep.

Am I missing something? Or is XNO just better for both purposes?

So I have transfered from an exchange to a paper wallet.

"Funds were sent to this account but the owner has not yet pocketed the funds. Only the owner of the account can write a received transaction into their blockchain. If this is your account, unlock your wallet, the receiving block is usually automatically broadcasted."

Now, if I understand correctly, to fully receive the funds into the paper wallet I need to import the private key into a live wallet and sync.

But I haven't found a way to do that with Natrium or Nault.

Any suggestions?

Dear fellow Nano enthusiasts,

I have been around since the time of RaiBlocks. I've been around when spam attacks happened and I've been around when we saw hope when we were a 1Bln USD project.

Due to a personal crisis I was forced to sell everything I have, including my home, but now I'm back on my feet and recently I have been buying Nano again. I'm looking at a nice stack, but I'm still very hungry for more.

Would you mind sharing with me your views on where the Nano project is right now? I see plenty of really cool projects being made and advertised. But I feel I'm missing the bigger picture. Where do you see Nano in 10 years time?

So basically I found out about nano storage but the author was so adamant about not giving me source code and asked me for money so here it is.

I also uploaded this on discord of nanocurrency

  1. just follow these link of transaction
  2. {'nano_1381xz8c65d6c8qj6kharnwmixnygqz4jhzix3yno8nb99sre7h9c8fdig9e': ', 'nano_143bek1bzcwc9oob6oejr8m1hatupi7359qkkmw1f4738dzmr4zzorten3pe': ', 'nano_11bau535g9qq79y79em4niap1t8oqon56td8yxcj87bq7znq11xwrf8ide1b': ', 'nano_1b6ng7r59in6ebaw9x8ctc8qgqk4yk1ygnezw391s979ytqo4aus6zw74gyw': '}
  3. you would see these 4 aside from the one who has a lot of transactions , these 4 would have only 2 transactions in series , see the first three characters after nano_1 , ie. 381 , 43b , 1ba , b6n and forget about the n part because of truncation and convert b = 2 and a = 0
  4. so it forms 38143212026 and convert it from base 10 to base 36 and boom , data stored on nano chain (basically forget about any other letter except b and a)
  5. and my code is literally the most inefficient code out there , because its very much limiting the number of possibilities , a huge shoutout to nault for actually getting me the private key from seed and operating within it (f cliwallet , this could've made things 90% automated but then it didn't , nault on the other hand worked)

I also found out that my main purpose ie. creating a replica of isn't possible since timestamps in nano network are local

I also didn't try to add it in reference id because its highly frowned upon and upon abuse maybe this could be stopped in the future by the nodes

But such thing is just a series of data , huge props to vanity data , also uv for python running , since its just a single hello.py (no jokes) written in 70 lines of code

If somebody wants to donate to me , they can , at

nano_3qzjz9jncuz1pgcceid3mcn5tgkjfx8pg65j66racs3ondxpxcdwm5yz9iyt

I am just a 16 year old who is going to take a break from coding and continue after 1 years once my major exams get over and I get into decent coding.

I used to hate cryptocurrencies as a grift but I am seeing its value as a decentralized store of value and as in this case , creating some new ideas

here is the code

Hey everyone,

I've been mulling over an idea and wanted to get your thoughts. Imagine a decentralized platform where we can trade Nano for fiat without any conversion fees. Think of it as a P2P marketplace, hosted across a distributed network (kind of like IPFS), where the community runs the show.

Key Features:

  • Decentralized Hosting: No central authority; the platform lives on a distributed network, making it resilient and secure.
  • Zero Conversion Fees: Leveraging Nano's feeless transactions, users can swap Nano for fiat without extra costs.
  • Community-Driven Support: Instead of a traditional customer service, we'd have community members offering support, incentivized through a reward system—think of it like freelance gigs.

Why This Could Be Awesome:

  • Direct Access: Makes it easier for folks to use Nano in everyday transactions by converting it to fiat seamlessly.
  • Cost-Effective: No more losing money on conversion fees.
  • Empowering the Community: Gives us, the users, control over the platform and its support system.

I'm curious to hear what you all think. Is this something you'd find useful? Any suggestions or ideas to make it better? Let's brainstorm together!

I'm planning on making a portfolio today and checking it in 20-30 years. Are there any alt coins worth holding for the long term? If Nano, why? Open to other coins too. Thanks

Narrative is everything in the crypto space. Nano fits the ‘payfi’ narrative perfectly

Even GrokAI tends to agree when asked!

Now how do we as a community reach out to Coin Bureau and ask for him to do a ‘deep dive’ on Nano especially with V.28 Commercial Grade release coming out

Would be awesome to shine a light on the project and the timing couldn’t be better in my opinion to have a concerted effort in bringing it about

Any ideas?!
