No fud, I was involved in Nano a few years back but decided it was too early to make any bets until Bitcoin had decided on its own identity. With the recent ETF approvals I now believe BTC to be a store of value perfectly called Digital Gold. That leaves the question of what need is there for anything else; there's one, a digital currency not limited by speed, fees or transaction size, which from what I remember, Nano did very well. When I try to send Nano from Nautilus right now I just keep getting a pop-up that says "Generating POW, this may take a while (>20 seconds)..." then it looks like it is trying to send with an animation, but nothing else happens. It has been a while since I've posted on Reddit, though I have still been lurking in the shadows, with an irl project... NHonNano! NoN will be a conference taking place around December 2024 (no date is final) at Southern New Hampshire University.

Activities at the confernce will include some Nano-themed pastries, catering, live demos, and local speakers/enthusiests. Work has already started with connecting to a local bakery, and some speakers are in contact.

We are looking for small donations to contribute to paying for marketing materials. Ads via local billboards (with blip) and Google and TikTok advertisements are already being supported by a donor. If marketing materials are funded, all other funds will be used to support the ~$960 venue. No donations in fiat, Nano only, baby!

There will be a short window of downtime for the web version of Nault tomorrow (Sunday), we will just be switching the cloudflare DNS stuff from one account to another.

This won’t effect the backends, the public nodes and actually shouldn’t affect you if you had Nault already open in your browser. I’ll let people know when it’s all sorted.

• Google's Gemini (Pro) is now available and is incredibly cheap (for now).
• UX is much simpler. Open a new chat or new image and see how clutter-free it is.
• QoL improvements. Hit the context button top right to copy or to explain selected text.

As Vik mentioned offhandedly on Twitter, we are also talking to Cake Wallet to integrate Nano-GPT into Cake Wallet. Both sides are very enthusiastic about this, so we're hoping to move forward with this as soon as possible.
