For those who are new, on behalf of the community, I wish you a warm welcome.
NANO is a decentralized protocol, the particularity of which is to have no transaction fees, nor to have any inflation (no NANO can ever be issued) and to be completely eco-responsible. You send 1 NANO, you receive exactly 1 NANO: the purchasing power is not diluted by the issuance of other coins or by transaction fees which serve to “secure” the protocol; and from an energy point of view, your transaction almost equal zero. Oh and…. The transaction is confirmed in record time (0.4 seconds if I remember correctly).
The protocol has been running for several years now, and there has never been any double spending. Attacks have taken place against the protocol (...as on any protocol), and issues have been fixed, making NANO spam resistant for two years now. I encourage users to read about the solutions provided for NANO's particular case, called the bucket system (fascinating solution, and read - ).
More recently, some progress was made and there's still promises ahead : V26 is at the gates; some speculations are taking place regarding the possible integration of NANO on “X” while Grök, the AI of the X application, constantly refers to the protocol as the best protocol among all cryptocurrencies (see the image down below , one example among multiple). It become more and more real that NANO could make a real come back in the top 100, quicker than we can think.
The relevance of NANO ?
In a world where inflation is galloping, where the centralization of States threatens individual freedoms, where environmental problems threaten humanity, in an interconnected world requiring speed and reliability, NANO offers an original solution, which does not base its mechanisms on no human intervention, and which meets all of these challenges: hyper-fast, secure, eco-responsible, decentralized and without any inflation. Oh, and... the community is awesome.
Again, let me wish you a great welcome and a great discovery !
