Nano is the only currency that truly brings fee-less and instant transaction value to its users, Nothing else comes even close in these metrics. Its still undervalued because its a rational currency among irrational people....which will always be the case.

But why should we be positive? Because any community that refuses to give up ALWAYS wins. Its one of the hallmarks of success, the will to never give up.

So i'll happily stack and use my nano and keep on keepin on regardless of what others say. Many platforms accept it and more are going to see its value, sooner or later, Nano is inevitable :)

In a time where it felt like every other Nano service was shutting down, I decided to create a simple static site for some smaller ideas of mine. The first feature is a "latest transaction" table with multiple currency options. Your most recently used Nano address is saved locally to your device for quick future access. This is not running on my own node so I apologize if data is N/A due to token limit, I will do my best to correct that.

It's bare-bones right now but I plan on adding more soon. Let me know if there is any other transaction info you'd like to see.

I have invested in Nano since it was called Raiblocks, I always loved being able to do fast transactions with no fees and I hate using Bitcoin, I believe the reason Bitcoin is not used anywhere is because it sucks to use it.

But markets are driven by narratives, In the last bull market we didn't have a big narrative on transaction fees and layer 1 scalability on bitcoin. But now we have Ordinals, and when the bull market comes, the fees will be extremely absurd, and a narrative on transaction fees and scalability will come. Nano can benefit greatly since it's the best Bitcoin competitor, and even GROK (Twitter AI) knows it. But I'm missing content on Nano, I couldn't find any videos on how Nano fixed the spam issues or any recent relevant content on Nano.

Nano is truly a Hidden GEM, but it shouldn't be hidden anymore, we should find a way to spread more information about nano

This is a potential solution to bridging XNO into the world of smart contracts in a decentralized trust-less manner.

I actually thought that ICP was a scam, but their recent push into the inter-blockchain space with chain-key cryptography has made me think otherwise.

Essentially chain-key coins are much safer to use than wrapped assets (eg wBAN) because c-k coins are non-custodial. There may be some risk in trusting the host chain, in this case ICP, however.

At the moment I haven't researched as to whether there is a technical blocker to ckXNO on ICP, but if it is possible, I think this could open up a lot more possibilities to interacting with the greater blockchain space.

Your thoughts?

Hi there, I have created a new nano node and am in the process of bootstrapping, however its taking quite a while, here is my current status after nearly 22 hours live.

I was going to try downloading the ledger.db from nano ninja but that seems to be unavailable.

So is it just a waiting game or is there another db available?

This has a lot of good information but the YouTube video is like over 5 years old and I think it should be updated with more current information and examples since the examples in the video are quite outdated with the logo symbols used and wallets used and such.

It would be nice to have a detailed explanation of how to pick a good representative. Importance of picking a good rep with very low current vote weight and historically has a lot of uptime. The Natrium wallet app has a feature that shows the uptime on representatives, but is there another way to check uptime without having to have and open up the Natrium wallet?

If you love crypto then you want to protect your Nano coins and help their value preservation, so move them out of Binance and into self custody and change the representative node to something good with just the smallest sliver of weight. Any representative node that crosses over Ӿ100,000 becomes a principal representative. So come on guys let's make it happen: let's have fun seeing how decentralized we can make Nano.

Very happy start to the year NANO

2023 was a year full of misfortunes for me and what got me out or my escape from problems was taking care of this project

The project always had ups and downs, which I mean by this because at the beginning there were criticisms and people who did not believe in the project for obvious reasons (few people do what they promise🙃).

This 2024 I hope it will be different, the project already has fruits and it will have more, it will be a 4-season Tree

I also apologize because many people thought I was a person who likes to brag or the truth is I don't know what's on their minds. I apologize for the photo that was on Twitter, the truth is I'm not one to brag at all, the truth is and I repeat the photo is old and I wish I had received so much nano hahaha it would be a blessing

Hello again Nano community. Sorry for this news but after 6 years of running a node and numerous services, I have decided to shut down. I've moved on elsewhere and can no longer maintain my Nano servers. To be fair, I have not been part of the project for years, just kept running things out of courtesy. I don't want any donations, it will not change the decision.

I left a notice on nanoticker.info and the following will shut down along with the server which has been scheduled for termination in mid-Feb 2024:

• Nanoticker node: Current voting weight of 1,177,962 Nano. Please find and delegate elsewhere.
• Public nanos.cc RPC endpoint. Will effect nault.cc endpoint, the Unreal Nano game, all visualizers listed on nanos.cc, TixWallet, and if anyone using the RPC or websocket elsewhere.
• The NanoTicker performance monitor

What will stay alive:

• All public repos at (feel free to fork)
• Nault (but with one less backend node to choose from)
• Nano Keytools: (but without a backend node for some tools)
• The nanos.cc domain (for now)
• Anything I run off Github pages (but without a node)

It's been a journey. I've started in the old Raiblocks days and been a developer, article writer, video contributor, moderator and community administrator along the way. I wish you all the best and success with Nano. Maybe we meet again. If you are currently sponsoring my Github for running the node, feel free to cancel it.

Ps: Have a listen to the sound of Nano for the last time (unless someone forks it). It's a very old project and to my surprise, it was still running!

I am sitting here just thinking and trying to explain to someone why Nano has solved the spam problem without imposing any fees on transactions. It dawned on me I think I need to change how I think about it. Nano doesn't impose a direct fee on any transaction, but it sort of does an indirect fee (although it's still not an actual fee). More like imposes a stake of size and stake of time.

Basically let's say you want to send a raw nano to someone and it's really important even though the notional value is very small. Let's say the network is being spammed and getting congested....How will the system prioritize your transaction over a similar sized transaction amount of spam? Easy. All you need to do is own /and hold in your account an actual amount of Nano that is more than dust. By proving you have a stake in the value of the Nano network as a whole, you are essentially telling the algorithm you are a priority. Your little transaction will then get moved ahead of the spam transactions.

So it's like proof of stake (not for confirmation) but for prioritization.

It also has the time layer as well.

So basically Nano has a combination of proof of time prioritization and proof of stake (size) prioritization?

Is how I am thinking about this correct?
