Microtipping is the future of the internet. The "pay creators I appreciate" model is already proven, but the vast majority of people aren't willing to commit to a monthly contribution (the only current models that work with USD), like Patreon. Due to transaction fees it makes no sense to sign up for something cheaper than a few dollars, and it makes even less sense to pay a few dollars for a single piece of non-mainstream content I appreciate (I can rent a movie with a $500m budget for $3.99 from Apple). It's clear that micro transactions, i.e. tipping someone a nickel for a podcast you enjoyed, is a reality that people would immediately adopt if it were widely available. There have already been attempts at a ground-up social network with nano integration. It's only a matter of time before someone does it (nano integration) well. I believe this will be the switch that turns the internet into a mechanism that promotes quality content and encourages/prioritizes creativity.

We need to fix Stocktwits. It shows the wrong crypto for XNO.

Stocktwits is used by lots of retail and it’s trending page is how many people found out about Nano given its semi-regular large moves eg 100% (it’s how I found out about nano).

Can we encourage everyone to contact support and ask them to update it to show the right currency and right price?

I would also encourage people who use Stocktwits to post and engage on the XNO ticker. It works similar to twitter.

Nano had big gains these last few days but still doesn't show up on Coinmarketcap front page currencies list, even when you sort by gains.

Why is that? has it always been like this?

At time of writing it is up 42.6% for the day/23hr yet it does not show up on the main crypto currencies page.

I used to have a lot of Nano! A lot. Unfortunately, faith forced me to sell them all to cover for unexpected brutal expenses, even though I swore I’d rather die before I sold any of my nano. In the past month I slowly recovered financially and I’m proud to say I’m back homies! I’m working on buying some more Nano every time I can, and slowly make my way to my old stack again. So please, I’d appreciate it if you could all stop buying until AFTER I have my stack back.

The idea is to crowdsource news for them and submit it in this form -

Smaller update this time around. Just two small changes.

No minimum transaction anymore. Due to some technical reasons before there was a 1 Nano minimum. We have worked out a way to remove that restriction. Feel free to use it for even smaller transactions (There's Actually still 500 raw minimum if you want to be pedantic, but that's effectively the same in our book).

I had an idea about giving Nano as a White Elephant gift. Create seed and put like 25 Nano on it.

The when they open the gift it will say something like this.

Dear Nano Lovers, Would you donate to a cause that supports Tech education while we grow our Network in Africa?

Nano is one of the most outstanding breakthroughs in digital finance- still it is one of the best kept secrets so far, especially in those regions where it is needed the most. Consistently, XNO has proven to be a reliable means for payments and remittances.

For some time, however, there hasn't been much participation from local tech/campus communities, native developers and creative talents in Nigeria( The African continent as a whole). Almost regularly nano is represented one way or the other at events, meetups and other ambassadorial opportunities but we figured that there are still a lot of untapped connections from the ever learning tech ecosystem in Africa.

Nano has the potential to power a lot of goodwill and great initiatives -this why I suggest we consider providing access and the suitable learning environment for those dedicated to contributing to sustainable growth in emerging economies.

One way we could make this possible is by donating a tech hub that could be used primarily for learning purposes. This way we could encourage more use of nano products, create job opportunities while we partner with local tech communities, campuses to Foster innovation.

Renting a hub space with adequate learning materials for a year will require time and some funding to set-up successfully . Yet it is achievable if we decide to make it worth the effort.

Which is awesome but dwarfs when compared to monkey game that was played over 1600 times. Also a very surprising thing is that monkey game is hard to play and require quite a bit of skill but the pokemon game is easier.
