Hello, community!
#Nanovember is here, and the Nano Foundation team wants to propose a synchronized action so every community member can take part in this month’s campaign.
We aim to make #Nanovember a strong momentum every year for our community. This is already being solidified in our culture, and there are many positive effects in the long run.
In this context, we suggest 3 action-guided simple tasks that anyone can be part of:
- Make a nice post on your favorite social media explaining *why* you think nano matters, *what* do you like about nano, and *how* you are using nano in your life.
Remember to use the hashtags: #XNO #nano #nanovember
- During casual shopping, ask at least 1 small business owner or independent professional if they take nano as payment. Make it as natural as asking if they take Visa Credit Cards:
“Do you accept/take nano for payment?”
If the answer is a simple “no”, just say thanks and pay in the accepted means.
However, they might ask you: “What is nano?”
“Nano is a global currency with no fees, I use it often, but it is still not much known around here. You should try it one day”.
If they ask you more questions but you are not comfortable answering, you can ask their contact to send The beginner’s guide to cryptocurrency and nano.
In case you want to go one step further, just print the Merchant Pamphlet made by Forest Horsman, and bring it with you ()
- Do you know people around you who are already interested in nano?
Well… #Nanovember is a great opportunity for you to get together in a casual nano meet-up for a drink and food - if you can pay for it in nano, it is even better!
Drop a message to people in your region who know about nano and go meet them in person. You can also take this time to network and find out how you can help each other to accept and use nano locally. People can pitch their businesses and needs, and you can share your connections.
These 3 actions are just suggestions.
You don’t need to do them all if you are not comfortable with them, but this is a great starting point for a broader worldwide adoption.
Remember to register your experiences, take notes and photos, or make videos (if you can) to later share with the global community!
