Could nano ever become a stable coin? Or a stable coin alternative?I think that’s a large thing that’s putting off business using it? Because I can’t see why they wouldn’t especially if card transactions are costing them 2-4%. That’s a lot of money being wasted. I am just wondering I am not 100% informed with nano and crypto so please don’t be too judgmental🙏

Hey everyone!

Been in and out of this channel for years, but a MASSIVE fan of nano and have used and held for years!

Our company CryptoMillions.io use it as our base currency for most of what we do!

We have started doing chain reviews and did Nano as our first since we were such fans and wanted to share it with you guys!

Our chain reviews are a bit different in the sense we don’t focus on price or price potential but the technology and usability!

Now the video doesn’t go live for another 20 minutes so if you reading this before then you’ll have to wait but otherwise I’d very much like some feedback on the video and our efforts to grow Nano’s adoption with our daily use case!

Any followers and subscribers will be wholesome as we are still new 🤘🏼

Thanks guy and hope we did it justice!

Coins.ph, the Philippines' leading crypto exchange, announced its integration of Nano, a decentralised, sustainable and secure digital money that addresses the inefficiencies in existing financial systems, into its growing suite of financial services.

Through this partnership, users can send Nano ($XNO) to friends and family who may use it for everyday payments, peer-to-peer transfers, micropayments, bill payments and remittances at zero cost and without delays.

This addition comes at a critical time as remittance flows to the Philippines reached approximately $38 billion in 2024, representing over 9% of the country's GDP. With traditional remittance channels charging an average of 5.8% in fees, Filipino overseas workers are losing an estimated ₱16.9 billion annually to transaction costs.

"Our partnership with Nano represents our commitment to financial inclusion and our mission to reduce the financial burden of Filipinos sending money, especially those based abroad," said Wei Zhou, CEO of Coins.ph. "With a growing number of Filipinos and households relying on international remittances, the need for affordable, instant payment solutions has never been greater."

About Coins.ph Founded in 2014, Coins.ph is a regulated e-wallet that provides financial services for consumers and businesses, including cryptocurrency trading, remittances, bill payments, and more. The platform is licensed by the Bangko Sentral ng Pilipinas and follows strict security and compliance standards.

Hey there, everybody! I run a Nano node, and I had a sudden idea. Since Nano is fee-less, node costs come out of pocket. Instead, what if Nano still remained feeless and fast for everybody, but for those who are willing, wallets/nano protocol had a feature to tip your representative? This way, Nano remains decentralized, and the node operators have extra incentives to run nodes. This could be implemented either through wallets, as in whenever you send Nano, you have an option to tip your representative. This would be done by making a separate transaction that sends whatever tip value you wish. Another way this could be done is in a new update, it could be a feature of the Nano protocol, as in every single transaction will have a new section (tip) that is baked into the tx block. Again, this shouldn't act like fees, instead, it should be an optional TIP.

Let me know what you think. Personally, I believe that this will improve decentralization by making nodes easier to run and maintain.

Hey everyone,

I wanted to share something cool I’ve set up for the Nano community – a 24/7 live stream on Twitch and YouTube! It’s a place where we can hang out, chat about all things Nano, and even participate in a free to enter giveaway every 3 minutes. Yep, there’s a spinning wheel giveaway happening nonstop!

Here’s how it works:

  1. Post your Nano wallet address in the chat (on Twitch or YouTube), and your address will automatically be added to the spinning wheel.
  2. Every 3 minutes, the wheel spins, and someone wins Nano! 🎉 Pretty simple, right?
  3. If you’ve been inactive in chat for over an hour, your address is automatically removed to keep things fair. But you can jump right back in by posting your Nano address again.

The goal is to grow the Nano community and give everyone a fun, interactive place to connect and learn more about Nano together. Just starting out with Nano? No problem—download a Nano wallet and come join in!

Links to the stream:

  • Twitch:
  • YouTube:

I’d really love to see the community get involved and help spread the word about Nano. Whether you’re here to chat, learn, or just see if you “spin-to-win,” it’s all about building hype and sharing Nano with the world.

Come say hi, get involved, and maybe win some Nano in the process. Hope to see you on the stream! 💚

I'm aware of at least two South Africans who use Nano -- I discovered one on WeNano, and the other tested paying with Nano at PicknPay using Binance Pay.

I'm curious to know how many South Africans are around. Maybe we could sell some stuff to each other on Nano Market? I'm kinda getting tired of all the scammers and ghosts on Facebook Marketplace lol.

Hey Hey, if you want some Nano SWAG (some cool brand awareness as you thrive through life), I made a pop-up ecomm site, only accepting Nano (of course). There is a 7-day countdown for this round of designs. I have some more sweet gear in the pipe. It won't always be Nano-focused, but this week it is. I will hand-deliver every order -- to the post office. Cheers

Hey everyone,

I’m Gabriel, the organizer of BizMerchant25, a Nano digital payment summit happening on August 30th, 2025 in Port Harcourt, Nigeria. I'm also well positioned as the country ambassador of Nigeria (Link to previous events )

Our goal? To spotlight practical, real-world use cases for Nano and other frictionless payment tools in everyday business settings. We’re bringing together 300+ small business owners, product vendors, fintech builders, and digital-native communities.

This year’s theme is #AltPayments for global Trade– highlighting alternative, decentralized, and feeless payment systems.

♦️Why this matters:

-Nigeria has a massive unbanked population, and traditional payment systems are expensive. -Small businesses lose profits daily to fees, delays, and poor infrastructure. -Nano’s speed and feeless nature are a perfect fit for these environments.

♦️What we’re seeking:

We’re applying for Nano community funding of $1000 Event Proposal Other sources of funds includes ads, vendor placement sponsorship from selected exhibitors

Here's a list of what happens at the event:

-Integrate Nano into the event’s marketplace -Run live demos of Nano transactions -Educate attendees with Nano onboarding sessions -Create media content showing real-world use of Nano

We believe in showing, not just telling and this what we aim to achieve at this event

How you can help: Drop feedback or questions Share support for our Nano Community Fund application Spread the word if you know people in the ecosystem who care about adoption. Reach out to more sponsors : this helps us get a more premium event at the end of the day.

6.345157 is an important number and you should remember it.

This is the total coin suppy of Nano divided by the total coin supply of Bitcoin in 2140.

Bitcoiners always tout the eventual 21,000,000 million coin cap number. Bitcoin is still inflating for a long time and is scheduled to produce over 1 million more coins in the future. We have to wait until 2140 to prove this out though.

On the other hand, Nano is a proven fixed supply of 133,248,297. Nano's coin cap started on October 20, 2017.

If you divide 133,248,297 by 21,000,000 you will get 6.345157

So the significance of 6.345157 Nano is that it is equivalent to the same % of the total supply that will ever exist as 1 Bitcoin on the Bitcoin network.

6.345157 Nano = 1 Bitcoin

In other words, 1 Bitcoin = 6.345157 Nano in terms of the total fixed supply max coin cap.

I think this is a significant concept to understand. And wanted to share and educate you in case you didn't know this. It may help you in your investment decisions.

Love the service, but every time I use it I wonder about the model providers behind the scenes. Would there be a way to indicate/filter/choose which model hosts will respect privacy, if there is any way for you guys to know this and pass it to the user? My understanding is that you guys don't log anything (great!) but if some models forward my queries to some unsavory place and others don't, I'd love to know and choose accordingly.

I believe you mention this in the details for one of the Deepseek models, which is where I got the idea, but if there were an icon key or filter that would make it faster to choose, that would be even better.

Partly inspired by this post:

Keep up the good work!

Can nano still play a role in this scenario or is this a total barrier to entry?
