My first coffee roaster was a Fresh Roast SR500 I got off craigslist for $100. Today I spent $361.10 on a fan, piping, and adapters in preparation for my next roaster to arrive. What a huge difference in just 6 years.

I ordered an Aillio Bullet! I am excited to receive it.

I have been trying to buy one used for over a year. I had a craigslist alert to notify me whenever one was posted within 500 KM. Only two were and they both sold for nearly the same price as new. I finally gave up and ordered a new one.

I wasn't expecting a 3 month lead time. They are building it to order. That must be why the used ones go for so much money. People don't want to wait for the lead time. At least this means I can likely sell mine for full price if I ever wanted to.
