Ready to identify yourself for a Google search? How about social media? All happening in different places as countries beta test age verification software.

Multiple age verification laws are rolling out across the globe: are these truly purely to protect the kids, or could they represent the ultimate trojan horse to our privacy?

We explore this multi-pronged, multi-nation full speed ahead legislation, in today's video.

We all expected age verification attempts at some level, at least for the most hardcore adult.

But: isn't that what parental controls are for?

Let's talk about it.

After falling in love with and marrying a US citizen, the Costa Rican filmmaker María Luisa Santos found herself caught in a long, uncertain wait for a visa to move abroad. Time seemed to stretch as bureaucracy took hold of her daily life. In immigration limbo, she found herself bonding with her brother’s dog, a German Shepherd named Turbo. Santos’s autobiographical short documentary A Film Is a Goodbye That Never Ends lingers on the quiet gestures that characterise her relationship with Turbo – walks, snuggles and relentless companionship – while reflecting on the question: how do you say goodbye to a companion who will never understand what goodbye means? Pairing intimate, beautifully captured glimpses into her life with her tender narration, Santos crafts a meditative work on waiting, parting and the limits of language.

Brave just raised the privacy bar. Its latest update blocks Microsoft’s Recall feature from screenshotting Brave windows by default. In this step-by-step guide I:

  • Test Brave with EFF’s Cover Your Tracks
  • Compare Brave vs Chrome, Tor, Firefox
  • Show a clean Brave setup (dark mode, shields, Reader, search tweaks)
  • Explain why ProtonVPN (1 400 % UK sign-up spike) is still my only VPN pick.

PerfektBlue is a one-click Bluetooth remote code execution (RCE) vulnerability affecting billions of devices, including Mercedes, Volkswagen, and Skoda cars. In this video, we dive deep into how hackers can exploit this security flaw to gain access to your vehicle's infotainment system, potentially tracking your GPS, accessing your contacts, and even eavesdropping on conversations. We explore the debate between security researchers and car manufacturers on the ease of attack and whether a user has to accept pairing. Learn how a simple Bluetooth connection could lead to a reverse shell, running Linux on a car's computer, and what you can do to protect your car from this serious cyber threat.

The Jeffrey Epstein Disaster of 2025, has now morphed into the "Epstein Coverup" of the Trump administration. With each side tripling down, and the obvious reality of far reaching corruption... a years old issue is now the mainstage talking point, as those involved try desperately to distance themselves.

The White House is now trapped in a scandal that has been slowly brewing since 2005, with no apparent way out. Their solution, is to execute the absolute worst coverup I have ever seen, and likely ever will.

A former office worker charts his own path, herding sheep high into the Pyrenees

Feeling unfulfilled by suit-and-tie jobs, Adham Dobai made a dramatic career pivot, trading his office and its rigid structures for the centuries-old practice of ‘transhumance’ – a life of movement alongside animals, and between pastures. Today, Dobai finds his work – herding sheep high into the French Pyrenees with the help of his trusty dogs, Caly and Pax – far more enriching. As he discusses in the short documentary Notes from Above the Clouds, it’s not an existence for everyone, requiring weeks without human company and rife with the unpredictable frustrations that working in the elements and alongside animals can bring. But Dobai, who views the ‘whole mountain as [his] playground’, thrives in the rugged solitude, finding a deep connection with the terrain, the animals and this ancient tradition. In stunning cinematic shots, the London-born, Barcelona-based director Jake Joynson makes Dobai’s love of life in this beautiful yet trying place easy to understand, capturing the sublime beauty of the landscapes that Dobai never tires of.
