Oh yeah I definitely remember the Myspace days back in the early 2000s. Shortly after I got out of college. Myspace was a good place for promotion and discoverability. Even got some artists signed to larger labels. Anyone remember porcelain and the tramps? Sadly it didn't work out well for them in the end.
Bandcamp though really seems to have done a lot to democratize publication and sales. No need to get signed. A lot of the newer artists I've found all have solid band camp sites. Or are only on band camp. Definitely a good move for red moon macabre in my estimation at least. Hopefully getting him more attention. I'd say it's well deserved. I know myself and a couple of my Elder goth acquaintances have been enjoying it since I ran across it.
