As some sort of defence, immeduately after the allegations came out, he also said something like "I now choose to live as a gay man" as if that shit was a choice. Idgaf what his sexuality is but don't give more power to the people that say that gay people are 1) groomers and 2) making a choice.
Also, acting as if the worst thing that came from the allegations was him being outed rather than him being an alleged sexual assaulter.
He didn't seem to understand the difference between being gay and being an... whichever the right class of non-pedophile phebophile was again.
Like "well, I just love teenage boys, but being gay is normal, right"
