Is it for racist reasons? I thought the crusades were a religious conquest with religion removed most of the time.

Yep, a few years back they banned several cards with racially questionable connotations. The most egregious of which is straight up some KKK members.

Man that one is incredibly bad, I didn't get most of the other banning but this one is very fair
