That's what you sound like saying we should pass on caleb williams. Unless the argument is that of course a wide receiver couldn't single handedly win a game for the team, the position just doesn't have enough impact when the quarterback can't get them the ball. (Which is why he shouldn't draft one with our first pick).

I agree that wins are neither a QB nor a WR stat, but this is the worst way to make that point.

Ohio State: 1 loss this season against a Tpp 3 team by less than a TD
USC: 5 losses this season, 4 by more than 2 TDs, multiple losses against unranked opponents

True, ohio state is a much better team than usc.
