I used to love my commute along the Charles river when I lived near Boston. One particular evening ride was accompanied by the quiet, clunking oar sounds of the boat crews practicing before the Head of the Charles. Mixed with the gravel sounds under my tires, I’ll never forget that ride, even 15+ years later.

I think this is the Potomac on the Arlington, VA side looking at Washington DC. Pretty sure that's the Arlington memorial bridge with the Lincoln Memorial at the end and the Washington monument in the distance.
