Deffo Trump, and for good reasons

There's pull for W with good reason: idiocies done by him were sung & talked about for months & years. Current pedophile-in-chief is such a narcissist (and blithering idiot) that it's difficult to keep up with the constant barrage of lies & screwups. Let alone keeping the gag or ridicule going for more than a week (day, often).

There's change that's due to the internet, corporate lust for click-bait. But...

The Cheetoh-face loves it up. And still wants more attention.

And continually steals unbelievable scripts & stupid works from comedians & theOnion

Thanks to how public presential correspondence is (usually, but probably not any more) public record, we know what two previous presidents called their penises.

Warren G. Harding called his Jerry LBJ called his Jumbo

Calling your dick by some other dude's name seems weird. Like naming your dog Michael and not even calling them by any abbreviations.

"Hold on, Michael needs to go outside for a poo"

"Michael, stop cleaning your asshole in front of company"

"Michael, come lick this peanut butter off me"

Just not jimmy carter

I would say Trump. The problem is, ridiculous come from the Latin for laughable, and fascism is no laughing matter.

Next in line would be Dubya. He was a bit less fascist - although Gitmo detainees probably beg to disagree - but more amusing.

So I vote for Dubya, despite the fascism.

[–] ImplyingImplications@lemmy.ca 16 points 3 days ago (3 children)

Don't misunderestimate Dubya. Irregardless of his policies, he coined words and phrases like Shakespeare. How many of use of dreamed of human beings and fish coexisting peacefully? How many of us strive to put food on our families and buy most of our imports from overseas? Don't we all want to know "is our children learning?" And who can forget that famous Texas proverb "fool me once, shame on - shame on you. Fool me - you can't get fooled again."

Spoken like a true Merkin!

No one else turned our entire population into mindless pussy-wigs...and all with a single phrase!

My kid calls atomic things nukular. Mad shame. I'm a terrible parent.

Mission accomplished!

[–] Jack_Burton@lemmy.ca 5 points 3 days ago (2 children)

To be fair, I've read that the Texas proverb bit was him cutting himself off mid sentence to prevent a sound bite of him saying "shame on me". I have no idea of the veracity of the claim but it's interesting if true.

[–] shalafi@lemmy.world 4 points 3 days ago

Likely! Politicians will never say anything negative about themselves because it comes back to haunt them. Also why they never apologize or admit fault.

[–] bradorsomething@ttrpg.network 1 points 3 days ago

You can see it in his eyes as he’s about to say it… both the inevitable use on the Daily Show and the desire to strangle his speechwriter.

[–] Lost_My_Mind@lemmy.world 3 points 3 days ago (1 children)

I'd love to see how it compares to that one president who was stuck in a bathtub. C'mon. How do you NOT ridicule that???

[–] Rhynoplaz@lemmy.world 3 points 3 days ago
[–] SleepyBear@lemmy.world 22 points 3 days ago

Most ridiculed in history? Trump. Any scandal or even conspiracy about other presidents honestly pale in comparison to just 1 single Trump day. Its to the point where we dont even call them scandals anymore, its just another day with Trump in office.

[–] madcaesar@lemmy.world 5 points 2 days ago

I personally thought, no-one could ever top or be worse than W. Then Trump showed up. I no longer think Trump is the bottom, because the Republican voter is getting dumber not smarter as time rolls on.

In France we had this satirical TV show called Les Guignols de l'Info (the News Puppets) which was really active from 1990 to 2010.

They really liked to make fun of George W. Bush, portraying him as a huge idiot acting childishly, obeying capitalism and obsessed with war.

Here's a compilation, It's roughly translated but you can see what it looked like here: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Cs5xDkPEpDY

lol, looks like spitting image

[–] shalafi@lemmy.world 10 points 3 days ago

Herbert Hoover presided over the Great Depression (1929 to 1933). Mass homeless camps were called Hoovervilles. I'm betting he caught flack from everyone.

The president I'm thinking of gets applause when he signs his name to something because people are so relieved he still remembers how.

[–] Venus_Ziegenfalle@feddit.org 5 points 3 days ago (1 children)

Can you narrow it down a little?

[–] spankmonkey@lemmy.world 6 points 3 days ago (1 children)

It's a coin flip between Reagan and Trump in their second terms.

[–] DarkFuture@lemmy.world 8 points 3 days ago

Do we even need to debate this?

[–] fxomt@lemmy.dbzer0.com 3 points 3 days ago

Dubya, fuck him to hell. Also got two shoes thrown at him by an Iraqi lmao

I still find it hilarious that about 15 years ago, the WWE introduced a new wrestling character. His name was "Abraham Washington". A name that, yes, it is a combination of exactly the two names you think it is. So who did they get to play the role of Aberaham Washington? A black guy. He played the role of a TV talk show host, who legitimately got fired, and this is true, for going off script and saying "Titus O'Neil (A wrestler) is like Kobe Bryant at a hotel in Colorado - HE'S UNSTOPPABLE!" which referenced some 2003 legal issues Kobe had involving a sexual assault case.

Abraham Washington everybody!

Today I learned that POTUS stands for “President of the United States”, never knew that before.

See also: SCOTUS and FLOTUS. :) Haven't seen the later in a long time though.

Florida of the United States

[–] kubok@fedia.io 3 points 3 days ago

It depends who does the ridiculing, in which time period and where they do that. In the last quarter century, in Europe, Dubya has been a grateful target, although Trump makes him look good.

My fellow Americans, I'm pleased to tell you that I've signed legislation that will outlaw russia forever. We begin bombing in 5 minutes.

[–] devolution@lemmy.world 1 points 3 days ago (1 children)

Can we define the word “ridiculed?”

[–] AFKBRBChocolate@lemmy.ca 4 points 3 days ago (1 children)
[–] TheReanuKeeves@lemmy.world 3 points 3 days ago (1 children)

Is "ridiculed" an ambiguous term?

[–] AFKBRBChocolate@lemmy.ca 3 points 3 days ago (1 children)

I've never thought so. I mean, I guess it's hard to quantify, but that's different from being ambiguous. If someone asked you, "Who in your high school class did people make fun of the most," you might know right away who it would be, or there might be multiple contenders. Other people in your class might have different opinions, but that doesn't mean you all don't know what the question is, just that it's hard to measure.

[–] devolution@lemmy.world 3 points 3 days ago (1 children)

I was using my question as a double entendre.

I'm not that into historical politics nor am I even american

[–] TimewornTraveler@lemmy.dbzer0.com 0 points 2 days ago (1 children)

then why are you asking this inane circle jerkimg question? the answer is Trump and it's not even close. and it's kind of sour to be bringing this shit up while he is disappearing ppls loved ones in the streets daily.

after trump it's dubya and after him it's not even close, doesn't matter. maybe asking who is third would be an interesting historical question but this just feels rude right now

[–] TheReanuKeeves@lemmy.world 2 points 2 days ago* (last edited 2 days ago) (1 children)

Are you asking why I'm asking an inane question in the nostupidquestions community? Because that's ironic. I know that I dont know, it would be arrogant of me to think I know the answer when I only really know a bit about the past 4 presidents.

You believe that me asking this question is negatively impacting Americans? I've been polite to everyone that has been pleasant and even those that haven't been.

I don't know who pissed in your cheerios today but maybe block this community and me if stupid questions make you that upset.

[–] TimewornTraveler@lemmy.dbzer0.com -1 points 2 days ago (1 children)

it's a fucking tone-deaf circle jerk that reeks of 2016 when his election was just a big joke to everyone. people are fucking dying, asshole, real funny if they're seppos though right

[–] TheReanuKeeves@lemmy.world 2 points 2 days ago

Yes I have clearly said that I find it funny that Trump is killing people. Definitely said that.
