Damn, I haven't watched the movie, but the mech in it seems cool from what I've seen in Super Robot Wars.

The mech is cool, the music is good, the art design is good. The character designs try too hard for only a 3 year in-universe gap, and the plot is a very aggravating execution of a good idea gone horribly wrong

The movie is also a sequel to the Sega Saturn game, which is wild.
