Rules:

  1. Post only links to articles, Title must fairly describe link contents. If your title differs from the site’s, it should only be to add context or be more descriptive. Do not post entire articles in the body or in the comments.

Links must be to the original source, not an aggregator like Google Amp, MSN, or Yahoo.

Example:

  1. Articles must be relevant to politics. Links must be to quality and original content. Articles should be worth reading. Clickbait, stub articles, and rehosted or stolen content are not allowed. Check your source for Reliability and Bias here.
  2. Be civil, No violations of TOS. It’s OK to say the subject of an article is behaving like a (pejorative, pejorative). It’s NOT OK to say another USER is (pejorative). Strong language is fine, just not directed at other members. Engage in good-faith and with respect! This includes accusing another user of being a bot or paid actor. Trolling is uncivil and is grounds for removal and/or a community ban.
  3. No memes, trolling, or low-effort comments. Reposts, misinformation, off-topic, trolling, or offensive. Similarly, if you see posts along these lines, do not engage. Report them, block them, and live a happier life than they do. We see too many slapfights that boil down to "Mom! He's bugging me!" and "I'm not touching you!" Going forward, slapfights will result in removed comments and temp bans to cool off.
  4. Vote based on comment quality, not agreement. This community aims to foster discussion; please reward people for putting effort into articulating their viewpoint, even if you disagree with it.
  5. No hate speech, slurs, celebrating death, advocating violence, or abusive language. This will result in a ban. Usernames containing racist, or inappropriate slurs will be banned without warning

We ask that the users report any comment or post that violate the rules, to use critical thinking when reading, posting or commenting. Users that post off-topic spam, advocate violence, have multiple comments or posts removed, weaponize reports or violate the code of conduct will be banned.

All posts and comments will be reviewed on a case-by-case basis. This means that some content that violates the rules may be allowed, while other content that does not violate the rules may be removed. The moderators retain the right to remove any content and ban users.

That's all the rules!

Who knew there were Antifa terrorists in the GOP also?

[–] T00l_shed@lemmy.world 7 points 1 month ago

Just FA terrorists in the GOP

[–] Blackfeathr@lemmy.world 48 points 1 month ago (1 children)

Wow, a Republican has the concept of a spine?

[–] macncheese@lemmy.world 48 points 1 month ago

I mean, the same dude voted RFK in because he was assured he would work closely with him and not dismantle the vaccine group but oh nooo did RFK liiiiieee???

"Hepatitis B is sexually transmitted... Wait until they're 12 years old before giving them [the hep B shot]"

I shouldn't be surprised that Trump equates sexual activity with 12-year-olds, but that just made my stomach turn.

[–] captainlezbian@lemmy.world 15 points 1 month ago

I mean clearly that's just an age well before they're having sex but still waiting until it's in the sightline for the earliest kids to begin experimenting.

The man's a pedo, but that's not evidence

Seems America kicked up a pretty big fuss about Kimmel being cancelled. It's starting to give me a bit of hope. Let's hope they keep up that energy if they get to vote in the midterms.

[–] Jaysyn@lemmy.world 4 points 1 month ago

It apparently wasn't just Americans canceling.

[–] ilinamorato@lemmy.world 3 points 1 month ago

"Yeah, takes us a while to get any traction, I'll give you that one."

  1. Republicans have billions more that the democrats for ads.
  2. Democrats are a hot mess
  3. Americans vote what their TV tells them.
  4. Republicans will not be affected by midterms unless there is a dramatic change in GenZ apathy.

Considering the amount of people who chose not to vote, it's not much of a surprise.

[–] Tiger666@lemmy.ca 3 points 1 month ago

Don't you mean: "ignorant and make bad decisions when voting because they are easily manipulated"?

How dare you take away their rights just like Shitler is doing to others.

[–] D_C@sh.itjust.works 3 points 1 month ago

Hey, I'll have you know that some of them went out for a nice protest walk together a few months back.
And some of those even took signs. I'm not joking, they actually took signs!!!

The republican claims of women on birth control being crazy and this tylenol stuff is leading up to women loosing the right to vote, right?

Dafuq is a Republican Physician? They have a party now?

[–] kmartburrito@lemmy.world 12 points 1 month ago (1 children)

You remember that physician that did a checkup on trump and said that there's never been someone alive in the history of the world that's in better shape than him? Remember that?!? I would bet that's one of them.

[–] NotMyOldRedditName@lemmy.world 3 points 1 month ago (1 children)

Seems like that would be the easiest way for a physician in distress to tell the public SHIT IS FUCKED, while also appeasing Trump with Trump being so dumb to not realize it.

But everything has gone to shit, so the dude might just have been a whackjob as well.

[–] prole@lemmy.blahaj.zone 2 points 1 month ago

No, the dude was definitely a whackjob

[–] CharlesDarwin@lemmy.world 1 points 1 month ago

I was going to ask if it's a contradiction in terms like fucking for chastity, or witch doctor scientist?

[–] aesthelete@lemmy.world 7 points 1 month ago (1 children)

Somebody ought to revoke this Trump's medical license...oh wait.

[–] SaveTheTuaHawk@lemmy.ca 2 points 1 month ago

No shortage of MD quacks to support Trump. MDs will do anything for $$, fuck the hippocratic oath.

[–] lavander@lemmy.dbzer0.com 1 points 1 month ago

All the press is talking about this nonsense… honestly this is the usual flood the space.

Probably for distracting from Epstein (that seems the only thing that matters to them 🙄)
