Hey congress, he's explicitly stating his intent to fight a war without your declaration against a county that would be within their rights to kill a bunch of us in response without your declaration. You have the ability to make him not do that. Not doing that makes you complicit in his war crimes and liable for Americans who die because of it.
I am sure various congresspeople will write some stern letters. We might get an opt-ed in a major main stream paper!! They will be very concerned. Not enough to do anything but the concern will be there.

This is what that "dont follow illegal orders" video was targeted at. Obviously this kind of thing gets loose lips flappin and it seems pretty obvious in hindsight now that those congresspeople were tipped off, and now every single service member who hopefully pays attention to politics understands their jobs.

So what? What is he afraid of? Just say it's AI. Whatever Putin's leverage was it evaporated the moment Trump won his second term. Trump just doesn't want to tank the week of chaos and embarrassment that it would cause because he's incredibly weak.
Also the last time I checked, his base isn't quite hot on sending more money or getting involved militarily in Ukraine. He'd get popular with Democrats. But they won't thank him for it at the voting booth. 😅
His base that actually are US citizens are only against supporting Ukraine because of conservative propaganda networks. If they switched to supporting Ukraine his base would switch in an instant just like with every other thing he has flip flopped on.
All those supporters are based in russia and other asian countries so obviously Ukraine is a problem
