I've been playing RimWorld on my deck since I got it last August. Does it play other games? I have no idea.

I have some friends that gpt pretty hooked on Rimworld lol. Its been on my wishlist for ages but I refuse to buy any more games until my backlog is cleared.
Which the Steam Deck has been great for. It seems like the ultimate cure for people who own hundreds of games but only play a few of them. It has made me appreciated these games spuch more than I otherwise would have because I can play them anywhere
Diablo 4. Getting it setup was easier than I thought and it feels perfect for the Deck.
Same here! After trying and failing to get other Battle.net games running on the SD I had my doubts that it would run. So far it's been amazing!
I would buy D4 in a heartbeat if I could play offline
Horizon Zero Dawn and before that God of War. Both very fun, I hope Horizon Forbidden West and GoW Ragnarok are headed to PC soon.
Honestly? A metric crapton of Tears of the Kingdom. I originally purchased the cartridge for the family's shared OLED switch, but I just like the higher fps + mods on my SD.
Before that, I was playing a fair bit of Hitman 3.
How does emulated TotK run?
It's pretty much 30FPS on my switch, except some very rare occasions where it obviously drops below that. It does not bother me one bit, as it does not really affect the gameplay.
Fairly well. If I go unlimited FPS, I'll regularly be in the upper 40s/mid 50s (with some obvious drops during rapid transitions from overworld to the depths). Very vew visual bugs, most of which are fixed by leaving the area or by reloading a save.
I just added the extended zoani device duration mod (https://gamebanana.com/mods/443760) and now can fly pretty much anywhere.
Fallout New Vegas is great on the Deck.
I'm currently playing:
The Outer Worlds
Halo 2
Caslte Crashers
An NES Castlevania 2 hack
Cassette Beasts! Its been a lot of fun!
Utawarerumono: Prelude to the Fallen (hybrid tactical JRPG and visual novel)
And started Spiritfarer from last month's Humble Choice which certainly has "game as art" vibes with its beautiful animation.
Dragons dogma has been a good game so far. Big fan of the combat system. Pillars of eternity has also been a blast but I am not exactly good at the rpgcentric combat. Story has been good tho
After seeing the announcement for Dragons Dogma 2, I have been more curious about the original. I put the original on my Wishlist and will probably pick it up at the next Steam sale. I never played it but have only heard good things. Good to know it works okay at least.

Burnout 3 on PS2 with the HD Texture Mod. Wasnt too difficult, just dump the texture in a folder, open PS2, check a widescreen and texture box, and was it. Works with achievements too.
-
Divinity Original Sin 2. Stopped after a while because I was trying to figure out how to satisfy my hoaring needs but couldn't find a convenient way 😄
-
THPS1-4, just trying to 100% them again
-
Dreamcast Crazy Taxi as a way to kill 10 minutes
-
Trine with 3 8Bitdo controllers. World's great
ETS 2
I've also been enjoying Final Fantasy XV a lot. Of all the games on my deck it definitely gets the most play time so far. Also Genesis Noir is trippy surreal fun, and Rota when I'm in a 2d jumping and puzzle solving mood.
Risk of rain 2, and the divinity series off late.
Got the Deck some days before. Started with Brütal Legend and will continue with Bayonetta. Here and there some Diablo 4.
Diablo 4, runs great on SteamOS
I have been going through my back catalog: life is strange 1&2, firewatch, ace combat 7!
Firewatch is absolutely fantastic. I finished that game in one sitting. I could not put it down. Probably the best 'walking simulator' out there tbf.
Life is Strange is good too.
Firewatch is probably my favorite walking simulator. Such an amazing experience, I still listen to the soundtrack from time to time.
LiS (first one), loved the first episode and could not wait to play more, but it just fell off the cliff and ended up being a disappointment. I'm still glad I played it, just did not like the story at all.
GOW and Stanelys Parable at the moment. Probably the spidermans next!
GoW is so good, I'm going play the Spidermans after I finish Horizon Zero Dawn
