Then again, this entire posts makes it quite clear you don't seem to have any ability to read the room.

Assuming they even read their own post.

Lawmakers can provide the law, but "strictly necessary" and "proportionate" are things in the purview of courts and judges.

Check every dictionary for america or american. Or just type "america" on whatever search engine. First thing is always the US or its citizens.

Exactly! It's always the first! Let's check the renowned and proud American dictionary Merriam Webster:

Oh. Huh.

I guess I need to accept that some minds are just skipping records.

Good talk. Goodbye.

His charisma is the ability to get other people to agree with him. The "agreeing" part is the choice of those other people, not his. If Trump has charisma, it's because people let him. It's their personalities who define the effect, not his.

I can understand Trump. He's simply a textbook narcissist. I cannot understand anyone who doesn't understand that, and how that is at least 30% of Americans, and probably not that much less worldwide.

My lack of understanding isn't that he can do it, it's why he can. More specifically, how a human can listen to him even just once and still want to agree with what he says.

Yeah, I don't understand that one either.

Haven't read the article yet, but I guarantee the "hacking messaging apps" is just phishing again.

cross-posted from: https://piefed.social/c/jrpg@lemmy.zip/p/2313898/terranigma-announced-for-ps5-xbox-series-switch-2-ps4-switch-and-pc

Clear River Games, in cooperation with Square Enix, has announced Terranigma, a revival of the 1995 action RPG, for PlayStation 5, Xbox Series, Switch 2…

Didn't think this would ever happen, but one of my favorite childhood games is coming back to modern consoles, and for the first time released in America.

Judging from the trailer, it seems to be a straight port with only ~~the soundtrack touched up~~ and some artwork extras. Which is a bit disappointing, as much as it's a genuinely great game, it had flaws even back then and the textures don't really hold up that well. I was hoping for more incentive not to simply emulate it.

Edit: Turns out the "touched up soundtrack" in the trailer was an unattributed fan work and the trailer has been taken down. Ugh, that feels scummy.

If I put together a multicommunity and each of them has pinned posts there's a lot to scroll through until I get to the sorted feed. Would it be possible to make it so the pins are ignored in multicommunities and just follow the regular sorting?

I didn't find a setting to prevent users and bots from following my piefed account without my approval. Is that just not supposed to be there?

Until some time ago (a few weeks or so), I'm pretty sure I could still come across comments written by users I blocked. I know that because I started to tag the users because of that. Now I've noted that not only comments by blocked users are completely hidden from me, but the entire thread starting from them, including responses by other users, is invisible.

I'm not really sure if that's the intended behavior (and if it's piefed or my instance that does it).

Siehe verlinkter Artikel.
