Makes sense because there's no WA sales tax on most food grocery items.

Also: THAT'S NOT HOW VACCINES WORK
With a few exceptions, vaccines don't give a person 100% immunity. They work on a population by making people less prone to infection thereby slowing the rate at which the virus can spread. If infections clear up (or in the worst case, kill the host) faster than the virus spreads, outbreaks get contained. That's what herd immunity is.
But that means you have to give the vaccine to as many people as you can for it to be maximally effective. Only giving it to people who are at "high risk" means only giving them minimal protection.
I always loved that he was very clearly inspired by Norm.
He's just pissed because Springsteen said mean words about him. So now, like the big crybaby he is, he's going to shout and whine about how it isn't fair and make all kinds of threats to get even.
Khalil remains in a Louisana ICE detention facility. After he challenged his arrest in court, a federal judge asked the Trump administration to simply back up its grounds for arresting the permanent resident, and the administration responded with an objection, saying the order was "misguided.”
Oh. Okay. It's a "misguided" court order, so clearly they don't have to abide by it. I'm gonna keep that one in my back pocket next time I'm in court. Your honor, I felt that the speed limit was misguided.
Most states don't have mandatory sick leave, and there is no federal requirement. Here in WA we just got it in 2018. Before that it was up to each employer to decide if they wanted to offer it.
Seeing as it was bought just after WW2, I doubt they still work there.
More like supporting his nightmares.
Hell, even if you could find someone to handle it fairly, it would just be a matter of time until someone subverted that organization for their own purposes. If there's power to be wielded, someone will abuse it.

Speech, Saskatchewan Legislature, February 17, 1954.
This reminds me of my childhood dog. She was a purebred golden retriever we got free from a breeder because she had a malformed front paw. Sweetest, friendliest dog ever.
We had a coffee table in our TV room that had an open area under it, but there were support bars running between the legs around the perimeter, a few inches off the floor. So like a rectangular semi-enclosed space. When she was a pup, she would climb in there and nap while we watched TV. One evening we were sitting down to watch something when she suddenly started whining loudly from under the table. She kept turning around and trying to lay down, but she couldn't. She had grown to the point where she could no longer fit comfortably, and she was super confused. We were simultaneously feeling really sorry for her but also laughing out loud.
