For real.

Yes, Trump is the one fucking us. Yes, Harris wouldn't have fucked us this hard.

But these aren't problems we would have if the DNC had decided to do an actual primary instead of just handing their reins over to a senile old man and his hand-picked successor. That isn't how democracy works and its a big part of why we are so fundamentally fucked right now.

Literally hundreds of original films come out every year. The problem is that people don't go see them.

Its not really the ads that are the signal so much as the fact that they are slapping ads onto it BEFORE it has developed enough to actually be a useful product. They have direct competition that is not ad supported and they just "aren't there yet" in terms of making a product that everyone feels like they need to engage with regardless of ads. Slapping ads on something before its actually demonstrated the ability to succeed as a product is just rolling the dice to see if it makes money magically appear. Its desperation.

I mean, that's all in the wheelhouse of normal FBI operations under any administration, but it seems that this dude is especially bad at managing this regardless of their willingness to be tools or corruption.

You would probably be surprised by how many "computer illiterate" executives work at Microsoft, and they are perfectly happy for their underlings to use their own broken ass systems. Most executives do all their work from their phone or a tablet anyways.

Jesus, They really just need to start over.

[–] UnspecificGravity 14 points 1 day ago

that is precisely the goal here.

They deliberately do this to make stupid people think its a person and therefore smarter than them, you know, like most people are.

And then they integrate that solution back into the operating system so that its all just as exposed as if it were locally stored anyways.

Oh no, I am going to get left behind by not letting a machine capable of writing a solid B- middle school term paper do my job for me.

That's exactly the problem. People who are too stupid to see that AI is actually pretty bad at everything it does think its a fucking genius and they wonder why we still pay people to do stuff. Sadly a LOT of stupid people are in positions of authority in our world.
