I think it's a decent evolution of the ENT aesthetic - the warp delta in particular - at a smaller scale.

Not exactly awe-inspiring, but as a glorified commercial transport...

They probably won't, especially considering that the first version of the pitch has already been rejected.

But...the reason for that rejection has been addressed, and this seems like this show would have a unique identity, which has been a priority.

And frankly, this seems like a more interesting concept to me than any of the other not-quite-pitches that have come from creators over the last few years.

See if you can do it without whinging about moderation.

Far too rich for my blood, but their SNW boot pretty eye-catching.

There's really any number of benign possibilities. It's just...odd.

I haven't seen "The Residence", but I think I heard it was decent.

It was never officially stated as such, but...it seems pretty obvious?

It really seems like something happened/changed along the way.

I consulted an expert: Matt Mitovich, a respected veteran TV industry and entertainment reporter, known for breaking news....The answer came in the most recent edition [of his column]:

“You can rest assured that Wiseman will appear on Starfleet Academy, as a guest star in one episode.”

Of all the cast, it seems like he would have the most reason to be there as a guest instructor - he's an expert in a field that no one else gives a damn about.

I guess the biggest knock against it in-universe is that Starfleet's first responders still need him to Make Them Go.

Professor Stamets would be a sight to behold, second only to Professor Rayner.

I agree, but...legally speaking*, I think they have a decent case?

My best guess is that they consider her that radioactive.

The Progressive Conservatives, now in Opposition, voted in favour of the report alongside the NDP and have said they're not helping Stefanson pay the fine.

I didn't expect Ceti Alpha VI to go "boom" quite so soon but here we are.

If anyone was still concerned that Khan would be somehow lionized by this series, his immediate decision to attack the crashed aliens should put that to rest.

Marla continues to be the most interesting character, trying to be the voice of Starfleet in the situation.

The framing story is beginning to get more interesting, as well, continuing to explore what the heck caused Ceti Alpha VI to explode in the first place.
