save a buck and then spend far more than they saved fighting legal battles

I wish that were true, but man, it sure seems like the assholes doing this never seem to come away with less profits.

It still staggers me how quickly some people's opinions on landlords changes when they see the money. A bunch of otherwise stand up fellas are now dreaming of using their retirement investments to 'buy some houses, rent them out for the passive income,' and another of the group who says his dream is to buy/own an apartment complex, all the while salivating at the money.

Most of us are trying to play in a game we hate... where not playing means suffering. I don't really see just owning rental properties to be worthy of the billionaire boil. Hold them accountable for every scummy practice and ounce of harm caused by greed seeking, but not merely for renting housing out.

Methodists are also okay with women being pastors/priests/preachers. They're also pretty good at begging everyone for money.

I'm imagining an italian fusion of country, where his pasta broke his heart, so his girlfriend broke it to make him feel better heart, which broke his heart again.

Thado-mathocist. The real chad all along.

It makes me wonder if somewhere out there in a multiverse, a community of lisping incels all collectively draw the chad wojak as as an aramaic looking dude.

I think texas has a death penalty for capital murder, which begins at two or more murders done at the same time. That means the el paso shooter could have gotten it. Xorollo pointed out the florida possibility.

Heh. I actually was using SPSS in 2010 for statistics. Weird memory resurfacing there.

You don't have to be curious anymore. You can summarize the entire argument rhetoric into, "Supported america in any way/shape/form, therefore bad. Must immediately dismantle imperial hegemony of terrible capitalistic empire.

When you say that, I remember my dad's hammock when I was a kid as a torture device that slowly drew the two side kids on top of whoever was the poor soul in the middle, squeezing them like a hydraulic press pushing cheese into a mesh.

How much struggle is it to get the fabrics to lie comfortably in the hammock? Do you just have blankets on top (except for that winter under hammock blanket), or do you line it with a sheet?

We really need a 'highly polarizing opinions' community, but I'm sure it would end up in flames too often to want to be a moderator there.
