Double respectfully back, I have to agree with the other commentor. I dont think you have a good understanding of what communism is. Which is fine. Global North countries, at the behest of the powerful elite, have made it their life's mission to destroy communism (i wonder why). They do that while pushing Neo-Liberal ideas and agendas constantly (curioussssss).

In your post, you have identified a symptom of capitalism. Not the cause of societal failures.

Also, unlike saying "humans beings are naturally greedy" (which isnt true), capitalism as an economic system reinforces and rewards any greed fhat MIGHT appear in A VANISHINGLY SMALL amount of people (true sociopaths). Whereas, under communism or socialism, those sociapaths would not only be unrewarded, their entire ideology would be forsaken from establishing a foothold in power (please extrapolate to the rest of humanity).

That said, if you dont want to talk about it, its all good baby. Thanks for listening to my Ted talk.

(Btw, this was all in good faith. Genuinely not trying to mock or tesse you. Just being silly).

Lmk if you ever feel like talking more

This is where we disagree. What are the fundemental tenants of capitalism vs say, communism?

(Just doing a thought experiment with you, in good faith)

Wow. This is the most: "read more than the headline" article ive ever seen. So much so that this article is almost straight up fear mongering and nothing more. We are all dumber for having read the headline

The proof is in the pudding

I think the answer always comes down to capitalism

Ahhh I gotcha. I didnt know .ml was Marxist leninist in that way. I kinda FW MLM, tbh. Especially the more I read and learn.

Tbf, I havent read much anarchist theory though, to counter balance. Right now, I am reading "seeing like a state" and I find the author's interpretations of Lenin to be somewhat in bad faith, even.

That said, I am not an apologist for any system. Mistake were made during the ussr and Chinese revolutions 100%.

Im curious: where do you fall on the political spectrum?

Hell ya, best of luck.

The Socratic involves (but if not limited to), asking the person youre conversing with a lot of follow up questions. Continuing to drill down until you get to the root of the issue. Then, you can work backwards to change their thinking to be more grounded in reality.

This is a really bad explanation but it works wonders for Consevatives. Ill give you a real-world example i had with my parents:

Them: "we dont like immigrants"

Me: why?

Them: they take our jobs

Me: how do they do that?

Them: by working for subpar wages

Me: ya, it sucks because it does take jobs away from people in this country. I wish employers were willing to pay fair wages

(Cut short for brevity)

Will you keep us posted?

Have you ever heard of the Socratic method?
