Though I'm curious how does teletry work in a GNU/Linux system? Is there some daemon like 'telemetryd' that watches /var/log or something..?

I usually use WindowMaker or FVWM but as a desktop environment... CDE
Slackware
- the most rock stable distro imo. No systemd or snap stuff. Packages are almost (if not fully) vanilla version from upstream. Simple yet efficient unix-style approach to everything like package management, slackbuilds are really good too.
DDG is a proxy to Bing AFAIk, their results are pretty much the same. Not bad for English language.
Slackware 15 on desktop, Devuan 4 on laptop, Rocky 8 on my RPI and LineageOS 18 on my phone. Slackware is really awesome.
really sad about this. lemmy won't be the same. we're also losing 15+ year of history with all the people purging posts and comments..
Awesome. In pmOS there are issues related to the GPU like not being able to turn the screen off, or X11 not working (only wayland), is there a status overview or list of nonworking features?
