Feels like the average age is 15 whenever the discussion topic is political.

I use reddit as well. Honestly, I still prefer reddit because there's more people, it's more diverse, and there's more related to my specific interests. It's also easier to avoid caustic political shit on reddit versus the fediverse. That's not to say it doesn't have downsides of course. There's more bots and not-so-subtle advertising, and reddit as a company is dubious at best.

POV = point of view. The intern's point of view. They're looking at the selfies submitted by gooners. The picture is a gooner. Idk what you're talking about.

I disabled Gemini and AI core on my pixel 9 because it made it run like ass. Literally took up about 1/3-1/2 of the RAM just idling.

POV: You're the intern tasked with reviewing the selfies.

When will the "erm, don't you know wrestling is fake" people get it through their damn heads that it's not fake it's fictional! You don't go up to someone watching a TV drama and start lecturing them about how it's not real, do you???

When I was 16 or so a blade broke off the ceiling fan in my bedroom and landed directly on my pillow. I had just woken up and was in the shower when it happened and came back to find it like that. If I'd slept in just a few minutes I would've taken that fan blade right to my head.

Step 1: Set your oven to 350° F.

Step 2: Take your bread roll (kaisers are my favorite) and run it under cold water for a few seconds, just enough to coat the outside.

Step 3: Put the roll in the oven and bake it for 5-7 minutes.

Step 4: Take out the roll and let it cool for a minute or two and then enjoy! The inside will be soft and fluffy and the outside should be thin and crispy.

Ever since learning about this I'm never going back.
