@VeganCheesecake @pelletbucket probably the most ethical alternative is http://jmp.chat/. I use it and it works pretty well, though not as user friendly as big tech.

Omnivore is an excellent open-source read-it-later alternative to Pocket, that can be self-hosted as well in c/foss@beehaw.org

@privacyfalcon9899 I've been using https://meet.coop/ for nearly 2 years, find it better than Zoom. Runs on BigBlueButton.

@splendoruranium @kurzon TBH, I find, the few times I need to use Google Map, it to be quite terrible.
