They might even drop further. They have one of the hardest SOS in the league so they drop behind almost every tie breaker. I see at least 2 more wins for them.

This is a passing league. It wasn't in mid 2000's. It's hard to compare them.
Chiefs also have a good pass defense so it makes it easier to stop the run.
Bucs, Monty got hurt and they mostly abandoned the run. He only played 18 snaps in the game.
We're more like the Chargers, and Lions will be able to stay balanced and unpredictable.
I disagree on the Fields comparison. Fields had issues with mechanics, navigating the pocket, reading the field, and throwing into windows (waited for guys to get wide open). He still has all these issues.
Williams has his issues, but he checks most of the above boxes that Fields didn't. Fields may seem like a better prospect because of the stats, but he had more around him to play with. More times then not his team was far superior than who they played against.
Williams Maturity on the other hand is absolutely a red flag.
Charges do as well, and Lions dropped 200 yards on them yesterday.
Probably something similar to what Darnold fetched.
Leslie Frazier would be my choice for DC.
It's a brutal 4 game stretch coming up for him to come back for.
A few things I think come into play. One, every year the NFL becomes more pass heavy. It's harder for OL to block when the running game is less of a threat. Two, there is always a shift in the NFL. For the past several years the offenses have been innovative and dominating the league. We're starting to see a shift of defenses catching up to that innovation and figuring out ways to stop it at a more consistent level.
If they get to 7 wins there is probably no chance Bears fire Flus, but I won't feel great about running it back with him. Fields is still debatable. He'd have to be consistently good through the remaining games to pass on 2 great prospects.
