For the longest time I thought lizard people meant lizard people. Not an allegory or something.
It still kinda makes sense to me. We're aware that the planet is getting uninhabitable for humans, and we know what's causing it. The people on charge go "actually no We're gonna go even harder. Nobodies even getting a day off you fucks."
I don't know anything about specifics, or actual explanations, but I once heard it said that Art decorates space and music decorates time.
Not just football games, soap operas and Deal Or No Deal need to be braced for too.
If anything at all even looks remotely suspicious, pinch your nose so you can't breathe through it. If you can still breathe through it youre dreaming baby, and thats real air passing through your real nose you can feel back in reality!
The trick is to get into the habit of doing it for anything. Strange car you've never seen before? Pinch. You've been gaming for 3 hours when it felt like 15 minutes? Pinch. You see the same girl 3 times in one day? Thats a pinching.
Just last night I had the pissdrawer dream. I was at a friend's house for a small, smart-casual suburban yuppie housewarming. Didn't know where the toilet was, immediately tried pissing in the sideboard drawer in front of everyone. Because thats how that worked. Got kicked out of the party quite quick but was pretty annoyed because everyone just uses the drawer sometimes right? Its no big deal.
I don't know if he went worldwide or if he's just a British thing, but Lewis Capaldi is the worst offender for this in my mind. There was about 3 months where Somebody You Loved wasn't being played by at least 2 stations at a time. 2 or 3 times an hour, every hour, every station, every day.
It was a great song the first 5 times. The next 5000 not so much.
Its knowing what I want but they used a name that makes me feel like an absolute prick saying it.

Games that are paid for with cosmetics are fine imo. I will never, ever, not once buy a virtual hat for any amount of money. That said, if a game wants to be free and provide consistent updates, and morons riding the meme-train want to subsidise me, that's just gravy.
Im shocked and appalled that game companies think people are stupid enough to spend hundreds and hundreds of dollars on pretend clothes and I'm exactly as shocked and appalled that they're right.
If games want to be free to play, but suddenly im coming up against a guy thats basically invincible because he spent real money, im out.
Ive not got round to getting a dedicated tool box yet, so I get to find them in unexpected inconvenient places every week until I need them then they disappear forever.
