GM finally released the C8 Z06, ZR1, and ZR1X times this morning.

On recent Audi models like the new A5 and A6 e-Tron, the "Prestige" trim is equipped with a front passenger screen, but if you order one of the lower trims, you still get a gigantic glossy plastic panel where the screen would have been had you sprung for the more expensive trim.

Is this the most egregious case of this, or are there worse examples?

Corvette on instagram posted a video of Corvette ZR1 and ZR1X models lapping the Nürburgring with a caption saying they will be releasing lap times tomorrow.

The voice in the background of the video stated that they wanted to become the fastest American supercar to ever lap the Nürburgring.

So I assume that they pretty easily passed the GTD based on the foreshadowing, we will see if they passed any other notable cars though.

Also appreciate the interview that Max gave, especially regarding his views on how one drives a [race]car. Especially his take on the infamously difficult to drive RB F1 car, which he insists he is just driving what is required of the car. Not any particular style of his that the car is tuned for. Overall awesome vid and I am thankful Ford were able to connect these two for some interesting conversations.
