Hey geologists! I found this stone during a hike in the German Alps. Could you please help me identify what I am looking at? Could this be a fossil? I would say the dimensions were 30x30cm.

Hawaii's Kilauea volcano just produced its most spectacular lava fountains in decades, sending molten rock in a wide arc more than 1,000 feet into the air. This occurred alongside a 14,000 foot high eruption plume which was easily seen from the summit of Mauna Kea. Today's video will discuss Sunday's eruption which created scenes that almost look fake due to how unusual they were.

Forbidden Fibers

These look to me like regular intrusive iron rich veins. Boulder is about 1m across, and sandstone/mudstone, area is volcanic.

I am not a geologist.. any ideas?
