A cape has been issued commemorating the defense of Super Earth from hostile, evil, and threateningly unknowable alien forces. This cape represents the boundless gratitude of all citizens for the Helldivers' selfless and innumerable sacrifices.

For those that fought valiantly on Super Earth between May 13th and June 2nd.

MAJOR ORDER: The remnant Illuminate forces have evaded Justice. Some of their remote bases endure. The unprovoked Illuminate assault on Super Earth will never be forgotten. Justice for the Illuminate atrocities has not been averted—merely postponed, for a greater and more immediate threat has emerged in the Galactic War: Massive Terminid outbreaks erupted simultaneously across multiple Super Earth cities.

This unprecedented assault of Fascism into highly-populated areas puts millions of citizens in grave danger. The Helldivers must respond immediately. Repel the Terminid invasion from our cities.

I don't get why the events for this game consistently peak before the weekend ever hits. The only time we're ever waiting for orders is the weekend.

Interestingly, around 2.5M played weekly before the event, so only a gain of ~900k players. I’d be curious if the number of missions per player changed at all.

Now that we defended super earth do we take back the cities that were lost or were they completely destroyed?

The Illuminate have retreated from Super Earth battlespace. The Heart of Democracy has been defended. The Battle of Super Earth is won.

The devastation wrought upon our home is immense. Only two Mega Cities remain standing: Prosperity City and Equality-on-Sea. The remainder have been vacated by the enemy, having suffered catastrophic damage at their hands.

Across the Federation, approval for impromptu celebrations in the streets has been issued. C-01 permits approval allowances have been quintupled, though processing delays may occur following the loss of ADMINCEN 02. All know the endurance of Freedom is thanks to the innumerable sacrifices of the Helldivers, and the SEAF soldiers fighting by their side. Awards for valor for SEAF veterans are being processed. Remaining Illuminate forces were last observed making FTL jumps from Super Earth orbit. The enemy has also vacated New Haven, Pilen V, and Widow's Harbor, burning the surface of those planets as they fled. No stations detect Illuminate forces—the enemy has gone into hiding. They will be found.

After days of nonstop fighting, Super Earth stands. The mettle of Managed Democracy has been tested; the will of the people has overcome the enemy. The Helldivers have achieved victory.

A new President of Super Earth has been sworn in following a landslide victory in a Managed Election.

There used to be a woman but I just noticed she's no more there and instead there's an hat on the fence.

The President of Super Earth has been killed in action by the Illuminate during the siege of Prosperity City. The President died heroically, defending the Presidential Security bunker with only a pistol against waves of Illuminate foes.

Presidential authority has been placed in the Minister of Defense.
