I have seen 3 people in the last week just stand up and walk out of their wheelchair. Not everyone using them can't walk but it may be difficult to do so long. Usually it's the elderly or people with circulation/heart/lung/kidney problems.

Pedals on one could be good for physical therapy. Help use your leg muscles without the danger of falling down.
