I remember a friend telling me how Prince could absolutely shred on guitar. As someone who didn't really listen to Prince, I was skeptical. My friend showed me this performance.
Topical, but his half time show in 2007 is pure legend.
Apprently there was a roadie off stage who had to physically hold a giant power cable together through the whole show because it failed minutes before the start, and wouldnt stay connected on its own.
Imagine being that guy, watching this happen 20 yards away, rain slamming down, knowing you held something of legend in your hands.
Such a fantastic performance.
