Also funny how they accuse tankies of denying an ongoing genocide, and yet I've seen many comments in liberal spaces denying that Israel is committing a genocide, being not only untouched by mods, but also heavily upvoted.

Gazal was wounded on November 10th, when, as her family fled Gaza City’s Al-Shifa hospital, shrapnel pierced her left calf. To stop the bleeding, a doctor, who had no access to antiseptic or anesthesia, heated the blade of a kitchen knife and cauterized the wound. Within days, the gash ran with pus and began to smell. By mid-December, when Gazal’s family arrived at Nasser Medical Center—then Gaza’s largest functioning health-care facility—gangrene had set in, necessitating amputation at the hip.

On December 17th, a projectile hit the children’s ward of Nasser. Gazal and her mother watched it enter their room, decapitating Gazal’s twelve-year-old roommate and causing the ceiling to collapse.

UNICEF estimates that a thousand children in Gaza have become amputees since the conflict began in October. “This is the biggest cohort of pediatric amputees in history,” Ghassan Abu-Sittah, a London-based plastic-and-reconstructive surgeon who specializes in pediatric trauma, told me recently.

Don't worry though -- I'm sure the Democrats will stand up for equity for us LGBTQIA+ people and POC, just like they've "stood up" for Palestinians in the face of genocide, just like they've "stood up" for immigrants and refugees in the face of dehumanizing fascism.

Right-wing, pro-capitalist media outlets like MSNBC, The New Yorker, Rolling Stone listed as "strong left" -- what? This chart is a laughable propaganda piece.

Forgive the poor quality. I think .world bans the decent image sharing platforms like img.bb, so it's highly compressed, and I'm not going to bother searching for the original because ... this is so bad lol. I don't even know where to start...

When establishment liberals say things like "it's complicated" regarding our rampant enabling of genocide, slavery, and other forms of exploitation and destruction, the thing that makes it "complicated" is that profits would decline if we didn't enable such atrocities. That is to say, it's not complicated at all, unless you choose to see entire demographics as subhuman.

It's always ironic when neoliberals call out tankies for denying or rationalizing genocidal regimes, because we ourselves are a genocidal regime, and the entire worldview these liberals espouse is dependent on it being so. If one wants to ban tankies from online spaces for this reason, it would be wise to ban neolibs as well, for consistency.
