Taken from the readme of the app on github:

The current release provides only basic functionality, with several key features to be introduced in future versions, including:

App and device verification based on Google Play Integrity API and Apple App Attestation

Additional issuance methods beyond the currently implemented eID based method.

These planned features align with the requirements and methods described in the Age Verification Profile.

There is an issue opened to remove this as it's basically telling us that to verify our age in the EU an American corporation has the last word, making it not only a privacy nightmare but a de-facto monopoly on the phone market that will leave out of the verification checks even the fairphone (european) with /e/os.

So i was wondering where I should go to buy phone accessories such as chargers and cables. I came across green mouse, which is located in Zwolle, the Netherlands. However I can not find where the products are actually made. Does anyone know? Or is there a more EU based alternative I should be pursuing? I am from the Netherlands so green mouse seemed like a good fit.

What are your opinions?

What's in the EU-US trade deal?

"We are agreeing that the tariff straight across, for automobiles and everything else, will be a straight across tariff of 15%," according to Trump.

Currently, most EU goods face a 10% tariff, with levies of 50% on steel and aluminum. Cars and car parts are now taxed at 25%.

Trump also said the bloc had agreed to purchase "$750 billion (โ‚ฌ638 billion) worth of energy" from his country, as well as $600 billion more in additional investments.

The president told reporters at the start of the meeting that fairness was the main remaining sticking point.

"Europe is very closed. We don't sell cars into Europe. We don't sell essentially agriculture of any great degree," he said, adding that pharmaceuticals "won't be part of" any agreement.

Thank you Blaze. I'm having problems with my app right now so apologies if I don't reply, hopefully I will be able to see updates on my own post.

Hi, looking for current suggestions for home CCTV please.

It's been a while since I looked into it (and never actually proceeded to buying, so not had that experience). Ones I have used were for an employer and not administered by me.

One thing I know I don't want is some cheap dodgy thing that has a mandatory connection to a suspicious Chinese IP address only website they couldn't even be bothered to register a domain for.

Probably goes without saying here any Google or Amazon type kit will be unacceptable but ideally it will be truly closed circuit. No online services, local VLAN or VPN access only. I can create a VM for management and storage.

It will be externally facing the street with the intention of capturing evidence of a certain individual causing issues. It would be a range of 20-40 meters from an upstairs room, so no doorbell type cameras. If I do go ahead it will be with the approval of local law enforcement.

Any suggestions very much appreciated, as well as any questions I'm not familiar enough to know to ask. Thank you.
