This was one of my favorite communities on Reddit. It has become complete bullshit fucked up trash now, and I'm happy to be out of there.

This has been my daily stuff all month minus the pencil which remains on my desk.

Rolex Dweller

Benchmade Narrows

Okluma DC0 with custom zircuti queen bead from my friend Sasa Fabrio

Tactile Turn pencil

Hello-hello, basically the title.

Ideally, the bracelet would look good but not pretentious (no gold chains please), something similar to Fischers Fritze. And of course it should be fun to fidget with, some kind of magnet or sliding action would be ideal.

Cheers 👋

  • Victorinox Pioneer X - not much needs to be said about this great knife, added a suspension clip so it wouldn't fall sideways in my pocket and it works great in pants or scrubs at work

  • Esee CR2.5 - Fantastic little every day knife as well as my deer knife. I tend to keep in the bag unless I am out in the woods. Kydex sheath made by myself. Every once in a while I trade this out with my Izula II

  • Fisher Space pen bullet - great pen, enough said. I prefer Lamy safaris for my work life but Im not going to carry a fountain pen in my bag everyday considering how fast I go through ink. So, the FSP is a nice back up to have for anywhere else I go.

  • Knipex Cobra XS - I will be honest, I did not think I wouldve used these pliers as much as I have! Working in the yard, house, hunting, camping, etc, etc. These things are awesome.

  • Olight I3T - Awesome little light. I like the 2 brightness modes. I tend to use the low brightness 95% of the time, so battery life is really good.

Hullo! Could someone help me find a knife with the following:

  • small (office duty, max 7cm long)
  • Raw Ti scales
  • pocket clip
  • slip joint or lock with 2-hand opening

The target is to match look and size of a Reylight Pineapple Mini Ti.

Thanks in advance!

I see a lot of excitement about leather man arc on you tube. I but I can find out what specifically is everyone excited about. What’s going to be special about it?

I've had this Gerber MP, or "Mr. Pinchy" for about 25 years and even though I have newer multitools, this one excels for yard work especially the pliers that are great for hose bibs. I recently modified a Clip and Carry case that is intended for a newer Gerber MP.

So off to Japan for a month and it appears that my EDC is going to suffer as Japanese law prohibits people carrying any sort of edged tool unless they need it for their work. Kinda sucks for a country known around the world for crafting sharp blades.

Apparently any sort of run-in with law enforcement pretty much guarantees a bad time if you have so much as a Swiss Army knife with you. Keeping in your hotel is fine, but walking around with it is not.

Makes me a bit (lot) sad. I’ve EDCed a small Kershaw or Benchy with me for the better part of the last 5 years or so.

Backup plan is going to be a flashlight or two. Those aren’t prohibited. Probably a Hank light and a tiny rechargeable I can keep in my pocket.

My EDC is a little unwieldy, so I usually just end up grabbing a Leatherman or pocket knife when I head out. I love the toolset I have in this holster, but it tends to scratch up car seats and chairs so I'm looking for ideas. List of tools:

  1. Lumintop E05C (awesome little flashlight)
  2. Fischer space pen
  3. Leatherman Skeletool CX
  4. SOG Survival and Defense Tool
  5. SWICK Jackknife Lockpick Set
  6. Commonly used keys for cabinets, toolboxes etc

I could probably narrow this down a bit, but if there's a solution out there that would allow me to carry all these items comfortably, that would be great. Thanks in advance for your recommendations!

a hook from Coppertist, i think. This too was a gift. i prefer my keys and tools on carabiners. This is beautiful but a carabiner feels more secure

Bought this one years ago. Still my favorite knife when it comes to heavier tasks I don’t want to use my SAK‘s blade for (or where the SAK‘s blade is just too weak for). Carry it from time to time when I know there is some heavy stuff to do or everytime I have my backpack with me
