This is the one I always used. It even still had my settings from my old toon. someone had showed me what I was supposed to do supposedly but it kept telling me no rotations?

Team Wolfas managed to defeat Team Verkittens 3-1. It was a close fight and it was a great watch. Congrats to Wolfas!

This opener will work in essentially all situations. There are technically ways to get slightly more potency by doing some cursed things and using a different opener each minute, but those strats are just theoretical and any movement or fight mechanics would disrupt them. Other things to consider would be Swiftcasted Wild Rage in the opener instead of Winged Reprobation if you're doing a fight where you would have Wild Rage for Revenge Blasting or something.

I haven't done any blue mage raiding so I'm interested to hear other people's thoughts. There are some interesting ideas:

• Infinite duration dot, another 60s duration dot
• Pairs of moves that interact in a combo for extra damage or healing
• 50% Physical or Magic mitigation. Maybe this is stance-based, like used with Veil of the Whorl or Schiltron? Or it will be a coin toss which mitigation you receive.
• Front positional
• Knockback effect... on enemies AND party members

What else stands out to you? What do you think the most difficult Eden mechanics will be for BLU teams? I think I heard something about the Titan orange/yellow/blue conga line already. Does anything seem impossible?

I am mostly excited for Blue Mage updates, but there is also criterion dungeon helping Hancock this time in Kugane, next step in the relic weapon quest which I don't see them going away from tomes again, and more Hildibrand quests.

6.45 is going to have our next Criterion dungeon. The last time around we had some kind of interesting mechanics, so I'm looking forward to the next one. Any thoughts on stuff we might see?

Cleared The Shifting Oubliettes of Lyhe Ghiah with a group of four, hitting every single exclamation mark (though two were secret sweeper trolls)!

Love the fact the devs are willing to troll you. FFXIV is awesome XD

I think historically that an expansion name and teaser trailer come from the first Fan Fest of the year, but I'm not 100% sure.. what sorts of announcements do you want to see?

It's been a amazing to watch this community grow on my humble little possum themed instance. As far as I can tell, it's the largest FFXIV community on Lemmy so far. Neat!

In an attempt to be proactive and anticipating more growth, I'd like to try and bring on a couple more moderators to help keep things going smoothly. Playing through the game for the first time as an arcanist and I’ve reached level 28, though I’ve only hit level 21 on the MSQ.

I’ve constantly being level sync’d and was wondering if it might be better for me to level up another class so I’m not constantly being unable to use my skills.

So for the longest time my character has been a male highlander Hyur. I made him to kinda look like me. I usually tank in DF, and would receive a middling amount of commendations after a run.

About a week ago I decided to completely change stuff up. I fantasia'd into a male Viera, and candidly made him gorgeous. Also made an attractive adventure plate for him too.

And ever since I've changed, the comms just seem to flow in. Way more than they used to, and I'm still the same mediocre tank.

But now I'm a pretty bunny boy. And it seems people like pretty bunny boys. I had no idea.
