Would you play more warrior if alacrity was moved from bladesworn and put on the new spec or on spellbreaker ?? And make bladesworn be a DPS only spec just like weaver ?

I just wanna spread some positivity about it cause I am SO HYPED for Luminary, you would not believe.

For the longest time I've wanted a Guardian spec that summons and uses multiple magical* weapons, not just spawning a projectile or something to attack a spot, actually creates different weapons and uses them in-hand or around you. And Luminary is doing exactly that with the Radiant Shroud.

(*Holosmith I count more as technological weapons, relies on an arm worn Holoforge to generate weapons, not the right aesthetic vibe I'm after.)

Added on to that, I adore the Stance effects of summoning up multiple light weapons around you, especially Piercing Stance. The four swords slashing around you combined with the four hammers slamming down with it, that is the peak aesthetic I am after.

I cannot wait for the beta to try this out and get some fun screenshots with my char.

(Small rant) This weekend I decided to do recs with a random group. Everything went fine until we reached the skip at uncategorized, me and another guy do the skip and get up to the cat bosses.

I notice that some people in our group didnt /gg so I decide to wait for them at the mistlock. But the other guy that jumped up with me decides to go in. He dies to the 4 cats and then get upset that I didnt help him. Saying "feel free to afk". (To be fair I kinda expected it that he would die and found it amusing that he wanted to try and solo them, I didnt want to 2 man all the cat bosses at t3 either)

We finish uncategorized with everyone, went on to t2 rec and he is still upset about it (by calling me some stuff). Ends with him leaving and we finish the rest without him.

I know that people want to finish their daily fractals as fast as possible, but if someone cant wait 1min for the rest then I will let you go in and die at the boss alone.

I used the jade bot glide booster to get up here and then used Spectral Walk to activate the dialogue and then jump back to this spot. Ryland isn't invulnerable so it's very easy to burst him down.

Unfortunately, the instance broke and the dialogue wouldn't trigger so I think this is maybe not recommended.

I'm playing Guild Wars 2 through the Steam client using Proton GE 10.08 on Fedora 42. I fell asleep while playing, and my PC automatically went into session lock. When I woke up and pressed Alt+Tab to get back into the game, I noticed that all the character selection screen animations were running extremely fast. I thought this animation speed bug would fix itself once I loaded into the game world, but I was wrong - everything was still moving at accelerated speed.

I recorded this issue with OBS to document it, though I apologize for the video quality since I didn't notice the recording settings were off until later. The game has since returned to normal speed on its own.

Lets break it down,

The Ghosts of ascalon are made from the FoeFire - The FoeFire Is originated From the Gods, most likely Bathazar From the sword magdaer.

The Luminary Elite Spec uses Iron Legion and Flame legion Tech - thats it. Guardian is Shown to be proficient in Blue Fire and the Luminary Doubles down on that. Some Call it Eternal Fire / Zealot's Fire.

I can Understand the confusion as both have this blue aura, but they are not the same thing.

The reason why im doing this reddit post is because I've seen three Gw2 youtubers saying that the luminary uses the foefire, and its incorrect.

This is so random but I came back after 10 years and man I can't describe how much I love this game, after trying many MMOs I came back and noticed how I walk around appreciating the design of things, and that's weird for me coz I'm not even the nitpicking type and don't give much attention, never played a game designed to bring the community together and be friendly to others,

Please, in the name of all devoted homesteaders, fix the broken lighting in Homesteads before the next expansion releases, so it won't carry over to the new one. Please?

Sounds have been broken for years now, but lights worked properly up until recently. The issue was introduced with the release of Janthir Wilds: Absolution.

Torches, candles and everything that uses flames as light sources (including Weapon Stand torch lights) no longer reliably loads the light effect. Instead, many such light sources remain dark, i.e. the flame does show, but there is no light emitting from it, hence it no longer illuminates the area.

Not sure on what "flair"to use here, but I thought I'd let gamers know that haven't farmed hero points as much that it is exteremly doable to have 250+ points on a character with all specs already unlocked, so having points ready should be very possible. Good luck prepping gamers! I'm way more hyped for galeshot than I expected to be!!
