Not sure on what "flair"to use here, but I thought I'd let gamers know that haven't farmed hero points as much that it is exteremly doable to have 250+ points on a character with all specs already unlocked, so having points ready should be very possible. Good luck prepping gamers! I'm way more hyped for galeshot than I expected to be!!

Coming back to the game after a long hiatus, I'm shocked this isn't a thing already.

I didn't fel the need for this feature earlier in the game's life, but now that I'm playing so many different characters and elite specs like Renegade, Weaver, and Untamed, I realize how much they lean on the function keys, and how much I'd like to bind these additional functions to the keys I want on a per character basis, especially given how wildly they vary from spec to spec.

So, we didn’t meet through Guild Wars 2, but we did start playing it together from the very beginning of our relationship. Over the last three years, this game has become a huge part of our journey — through every dungeon, fractal, and accidental pull. And now… we’re getting married!

To celebrate, we decided to share this special moment with our guild. Georgia was so excited she made these invitations herself — and honestly, I think they’re the most adorable thing I’ve ever seen. So I couldn’t resist sharing it with the broader GW2 community as well.

Unfortunately, we can’t invite everyone since the ceremony is happening inside our Guild Hall, but I just want to say:

This is, without a doubt, the most amazing community I’ve ever experienced in any game.

We’ve got big IRL plans ahead this year, but one thing we’re definitely not giving up is playing Guild Wars 2 and being a part of this incredible world (and you weirdos in it).

If you’d like to send your congratulations, just shoot us an in-game mail — we’ll be taking screenshots of every single “grats” we receive and saving them as part of our wedding memories.

You can find us on NA as Georgia.8146 and Yog.7231.

Thanks for being part of a game that’s given us so much more than just loot — it gave us joy, connection, and the most chaotic kind of love.

Playing the level 10 personal story for human. I really enjoyed the simple adventure again of small characters and dialogue and even underrated mechanics in scenes. Fighting commander Serentine to rid us of her always breaking criminals out of jail, she used unique mechanics. She was shouting orders from the back for her soldiers to shield wall up, we had to get behind, and then she joined the battle with dialogue accompanied. That felt so realistic, and I really don't feel like we get those moments in story nowadays. Low key story moments that they clearly put time in to make more interesting. I am not sure how to explain that better, but I am really enjoying it.

Just recently got back into Gw2, level 28. I stumbled into Lion's Arc using some teleport that was in my mail and decided to explore. I jumped behind some shack to chase a vantage point and some disembodied voice started talking to me. Decided to follow it and see what happens. Went through a maze with illusory walls, a labyrinth of traps and a jumping puzzle in the dark. Was rewarded with a magnificent chest and a guy selling pirate weapons.

I didn't really expect it to be anything, so I was rather surprised. I hope there's more stuff like this.

The current visual for the Luminary is basically an overly bright infusion that covers the guardian in a super bright glow (might be more reasonable without bloom). It's ugly, and more importantly, it doesn't match the concept art which makes the radiant shroud look sick. It also doesn't include the brazier in any way whatsoever, which doesn't make sense since the brazier is supposed to be the source of the shroud.

Here's my suggestion:

When the guardian enters shroud, the overly bright blue glow that covers the guardian right now should instead cover the brazier instead. Then, like the concept art shows, a tendril of blue flame should connect that glowing blue brazier to the guardian, acting like a link that transfers flame from the glowing brazier to the guardian. The weapons themselves looked good, but a blue flame-y trail somewhere between the jormag/primordus/soowon aurene variants could finish the look.. Only looking at animations here:

Mesmer: looks ok-ish. I was a bit disappointed that the attacks do not include any notes flying around. I thought that the instruments in game already have some animations with actual notes and that those would be reused partially.

Guardian: While the main theme looks cool, it is just to bright and flashy. The flames on the characters basically make them look like one big blue blob. Would like to reduce that intensity a bit.

Ranger: Holy... I love that one. Some attacks are a bit over the top, but other than that I think they nailed it. Best one: I love that jump animation on the new utility skill. That turning or the character when jumping really looks clean and "dodgy"
