As a longtime Guild Wars 2 player, I felt it was time for a change and decided to take a break to try something different. Since I’ve always loved the Guild Wars universe, I figured — why not go back and play Guild Wars 1? So I played through everything, from Prophecies to Eye of the North and the Beyond content.

This happened right after the second Jenthir Wilds patch dropped. Now that I’ve finished GW1, I’ve started leveling a Revenant in GW2.

That said, I don’t want to ignore my current characters, so I came up with a new goal: I want to craft a legendary weapon for each of them. That means completing map exploration to 100% and then farming achievements.

How about you guys? What keeps you motivated to keep playing? Is it raids, fractals, achievements, new character builds?

Would love to hear your thoughts — always looking for fresh ideas and inspiration!

Hi everyone,

I'm not a member of the GW2 community but I come with a pretty longshot question!

6 years ago, my partners brother unexpectedly passed away. We managed to salvage some stuff from his pc, including his attempts to clip some gameplay and voice chat from GW2.

We just lost this data and while we're attempting to recover it, it's not looking good.

A player that is a good candidate for being him was someone called Choke Itz Smoke, who was, at some point a member of NotJustAnotherForumWarrior [QQ] on the Ruins of Surmia server and he was Belgian (if that helps!)

It's an extreme long shot, I know, and I could be looking at the wrong name and info entirely, but in case I'm not, I was wondering if anyone here knew him and, if so, if they possibly have any recordings that include his voice? My partner is devastated at losing one of the few ways he could listen to his brothers voice again
