They sit side by side on the step. He continues,"I'm going to read to grandma" She replies,"Read? You know you can't read!"
He stands up and says,"That doesn't matter...."
He turns to walk back into the house and concludes,"Grandma can't hear, either!"

He says, "Gee!" as Violet points at Patty and replies,"Oh, yeah! Well, I like Charlie Brown twice as much as you do!!"
Patty exclaims,"Well, I like Charlie Brown Three times as much as you do!!" He exclaims, "Wow!"
He walks off saying,"Yes, sir! A most inspiring discussion!"

Shermy sits on the floor across from Charlie Brown. The latter asks,"I wonder just how long it takes to shave?"
Shermy replies,"I imagine it depends upon the size of your face..."
Charlie Brown exclaims as Patty walks up and says,"That means it would take Charlie Brown about three hours!"
He grits his teeth and chases her. She runs off and concludes,"We girls get our laughs, too!"

She sits on a foot-stool as he concludes,"Here I was happy 'cause I thought the rain was making me grow!"

Charlie Brown is in his swim trunks wading out in the water. He says,"This will really impress Violet and Patty!"
He is in the water up to his shoulders. He says,"I'll stand clear out here where the water comes up to my chin..."
He listens questioningly as the girls appear on the beach and Violet asks,"What's that floating in the water, Patty?" Patty replies,"Maybe we should call the lifeguard..."
He grimaces as one of them concludes, "I'll bet it's a beachball!"
