Thanks to extensive work by our 3D department, we are excited to share that our second-to-last tileset - the Redoran Interior tileset - is now nearing its completion.

With this long-awaited tileset available, our level designers have begun work on the residences of House Redoran, such as these huts, ensuring their interiors reflect the inhabitants as well as the customs of the Great House itself.

Oisteri comments: "In Morrowind, this tomb was small and insignificant, but housed the rare Native Chuzei Bonemold Helm. With our writing team adding item descriptions to the game, the helmet's unique description adds a tiny piece of new lore which heavily inspired me to make this dungeon something more unique and interesting.”

The item description, by ckorkos: "An ancestral helm of bone from an antique age. Its double slit view, designed to emulate Vvardenfell's unique fauna, provides increased visibility for warriors fighting at range. House Chuzei, furious at an alleged betrayal by the Tribunal, broke from House Indoril and followed Azura to the untamed Ashlands. Their final collapse is shrouded by time, but vestiges of their artistry remain."

Zafirbel Bay, on Azura’s Coast, is one of the final regions of Skywind currently undergoing level design. The tropical islands here host a handful of Telvanni towers, but are otherwise largely made up by untamed wilderness and lush terrain, which has made it hard to navigate the area by most means of transportation. Perfect, however, for explorers looking for a challenging hike - or a tranquil rest on the sheltered shores amidst the cliffs.

Roughly 300 voice actors are lending their voices to give life to the approximately 3000 NPCs of Vvardenfell, and we are looking forward to you all hearing them on your adventures.

Even the most seasoned adventurer can benefit from a break sometimes. At Fara’s Hole in the Wall in Sadrith Mora, visitors are welcome for outstanding food, drinks, or a bed. Just make sure to have your hospitality papers in order first!

On the northern coast of Vvardenfell lies Ibar-Dad - a cave currently occupied by Daedra-worshipping mages, seeking the resting-place of the legendary Mordrin Hanin. Their efforts so far have proven unsuccessful, but perhaps you will have better luck?

Team members across all departments are working hard to make Skywind come to life, and while there is still much left to do, we are excited to share that recent progress has been vast and we are closing in on several major milestones.

In Dunmer culture, ancestral tombs are a favorable way to ensure a dignified eternal rest, and many distinguished families have opted for this accommodation to honor their departed. Though most commonly guarded by undead, some - like the Andavel Ancestral Tomb - have with time been overrun by Daedra. So watch your back, if you choose to enter!

Spells can be of great aid during your adventures around Vvardenfell, so encountering someone who sells them - or can help you with spellmaking - could often prove very valuable. Skywind features a full, custom interface for any sorcerers who are eager to craft their own spells, so if you find yourself wandering around Sadrith Mora, don't miss out on visiting Urtiso Faryon in her shop!

While wandering around the West Gash, you may run into this cozy establishment - a shrine dedicated to the Daedric Prince Malacath. Representing the ostracized and outcast, Malacath is by some referred to as Mauloch, Orc-Father, and is worshipped by most Orcs; some of whom you might encounter while exploring ruins like these.
